Speaking of Christmas cards, I stopped at Hallmark today and ended up visiting with this really nice older guy about cards, and Christmas and children and just all sorts of stuff. We even bought the same cards. And then on the way out of the store we stopped and talked some more about his niece and one of my friends who is sick. And I'm thinking, boy, how comfortable is it talking to this guy! And then we wished each other a Merry Christmas and left.

Hey everyone, my company has recently moved into the apparel business for business' which has afforded me the opportunity to get things with a pretty nice discount, and I just wanted to gauge interest in doing an embroidered winter jacket...
I'm not 100% sure on the numbers but the final cost per jacket would be $100-120 and that would include getting your name embroidered on the front of the jacket and a large cooler crew logo embroidered on the back. These jackets are high quality, I would compare them to a nice Columbia winter jacket.
As you can see on the link they are 110 to the general public and that is plain, so if I can verify the price I'm thinking they'll be this will be a heck of a deal (in my opinion).
Just let me know if you might be interested, and then I'll see if I should hammer out the details. If I do this, it has to be soon because it's going take a few weeks to process the order and I would want them in time for the hunt.

P.S. In order for it to make any sense financially we need to get a group of atleast 6 to go in on this.
:frown: I just ordered 12 of those exact same jackets in red a few weeks ago and am expecting them next Wednesday. I was able to swindle one for myself as well. Even with my 40% discount they were still way over 120. You can see the red ones by watching the WCCO outside reporters. Good stuff. My second one actually. :smile:
No, I wasn't thinking that. I was just bummed that I'm getting my second one and wouldn't feel right ordering one more even though that would be the best one.
Hey Ares - Did I read somewhere that you sold all your Elmos? I was at Kmart last night, and they had close to 50 of them for $38 and some change a piece.
This is funny. Remember when we were discussing Dreamsicles/Creamsicles? During that time I sent the question to the "Contact Us" are at the Popsicle website. Then I forgot all about it.
This morning I got a call from Popsicle! lol Actually, Popsicle, Good Humor, Breyers, Klondike and Ben & Jerry's. Popsicle owns all of those brands the woman told me.
The Dreamsicle brand was discontinued years ago, but she couldn't give me a date. The difference between Dreamsicles and Creamsicles is that Dreamsicles had a waterized coating, a Popsicle coating, and Creamsicles have a sherbert coating. They are two different products.
So we can all sleep tonight. It came right from the horse's mouth. :goofy:
Wow. I should have just asked you. I sent the question to them as well, and the response that I got from them was that they did not know of the Dreamsicle brand, and that they never sold it. Amazing how knowledge is shared in their organization... :eyeroll:

I've been getting screened calls from this number for a month or so. I don't answer figuring if it's important, they'll leave a message. So this time she started to leave a message and when I heard her say who she was I picked up. She said she was the head of Product something or other.
Maybe they'll bring back Dreamsicles now that they're getting all these questions about them. :sillygrin:

Well I probably couldn't get away with ordering jackets for some outside company with my discount. But a club I am a member of, it's no big deal.
