weird day --- IT guy calls and says "your just the body I was looking for" DOH! he actually tried to back pedal his way out of that one! it was funny. Today I found out his last name is HOTTMAN! I kid you not!!!
then I get into the elevator with 3 goodlooking guys. (I'm almost always parked on the top 8th floor when I park in the ramp).... they asked if I was going to 8 and I respond with "I'm almost always on the top" - I think I turned red! hahaha what a day!
then theres some guys who don't answer their phones. :frown: or return a call
I hope I can relay this story. I almost put it in the joke thread...it's funny for sure - but sadly all too true.
We have recently had new carpet and paint in our office. Earlier this week, the maintenance guys came in and put furniture back in place. I was in charge of getting everyone powered up, phones plugged back in and the computer network hooked up again.
Yesterday, one of the women there came to me and said that she didn't have any power to her computer. (When everything is in place, she has a printer, a monitor, keyboard, mouse, a docking station and a laptop that gets connected to the docking station.
I went into her office and turned everything on...it all powered up.
I asked her why she thought there wasn't any power. She told me she couldn't get her email.
I asked her where she had her laptop.
She said: "I left that at home."
I just stood there not believing what I was hearing.
She then continued: "You mean I need my laptop connected to get my email?"
Sounds like my boss. there is a dropdown menu after his name, and he has to pick the location from where he's signing in at (on his lap top if he's not at the home office, he has to pick the winery he IS at.) 5 weeks of phonecalls and arguements, he finally gets it.
Enjoy : finding the prefect white elephant. A drinking game and sexy christmas panties.
Enjoy: my friends 40th, and getting to take her to dinner with my other friend, and toast her and eat the most amazing food
Enjoy: adopting two "angels" for the christmas toy drive, and knowing on Saturday I get to watch them both open their presents and knowing I'm a pretty hip shopper so they are going to be THRILLEd.
Enjoy: Laughing my ass off as we play 'Ding Fries Are Done' over the radios at work.
You're never ever supposed to go against protocol while speaking on the radio since there's a good 50 people listening at any given time. But the two big bosses have left for the day so we decided to have a little 'anonymous' fun.
hey, how did you see Santa? he wasn't in his chair all eve? :frown: I have to go back out this week still and have to hope the line is short - I know- good luck
- fyi, very very very nice pic -
but, who's that old guy sitting on your lap?
Going to Las Vegas Christmas Day night... until Sat morning the 30th. Staying at the Luxor.
Cost? free!!!
Jack (roommate) has a work deal dinner on the 27th, and the head winemaker can't go - well everything was booked for him and his wife... so we got to take it. 4 hours out of our trip eating at a fancy pants restaurant with some distibutors... is well worth it!
Being the winning bid on a Fisher Price Kid Tough digital camera at Ebay and paying less than I would have paid at the store (if they hadn't been sold out everywhere) if you factor in sales tax!
I made three runs to the post office. Not that that's a hardship for me. I can pretty much just roll down the hill. :pbpt:
I did a little shopping for myself today. Merry Christmas to meeeeeeeee! I bought the Charlie Brown Christmas music CD and am playing it right now and absolutely love it! I love Charlie Brown Christmas!
I also bought the James Taylor Christmas music CD but am not going to open it yet. Something tells me I might be getting it for a present.
FYI: Old Navy has started making stuff down already. They're wonderful fleece pj bottoms are $10! I bought five pair
Heading over to Woodbury in about two hours with Abby. I think I'm finally finishing up.
Bistro Ralph - blue cheese wedge salad, tortilla soup, Chicken Palliard over 1000 fries, and creme brulee with 1997 Silver Oak Napa Cab, 2002 Reserve Simi Cab, and 2005 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc.
OT - correction,,, we HAD it. Apparently when I was out to lunch someone screwed with my office mate and put little drummer boy on repeat (she hates that song) the CD now resides on the overhang outside the office window...
Some may think this is gross, but to me it's heaven.
Salami, Habanero Pepper Jack Cheese, Olive mix, peppercini's, tomatoes, pickles, with mustard, mayo and sub dressing - all on a real hard, san francisco sourdough roll.
Did you eat yourself silly? When I've been to the all inclusives in Cancun & Cabo we went nuts with the food... and the drinks in the little straw huts :0)
Yeah, the buffets were awesome. It was nice having great free options. And it was great too being able to go up to the bar any time and get drinks whenever you wanted.
I told him all about cha
Thanks and good jorb ares!
