Hey Mr. Med, is there any new information on the older hunts in the new book? Or just info for the last two hunts? Either way, I'd like to get a signed copy.
1)making two baskets for silent auction items for my crab feed.
2) sleeping cats. They look so sweet and innocent all tucked up and snuggle around themselves, you'd never guess they were the thieving, chewing little SOB's who keep attacking the ribbons on the baskets when awake.
3) billable hours for my consulting services. ka-ching!
I'll rephrase it to be that I enjoy having the damn thing out of me. The actual act of passing it (especially without drugs) is not so fun, as I'm sure you can sympathize with.
enjoy: the entire club voting for me to run for a Regional Director's chair of my cult.
enjoy: winning a seat on my own clubs board of directors for this term
enjoy: 10 days till crab feed and I'm done with it
enjoy: 3 days until I get to install one of my best friends as the new president
enjoy: knowing I have a really good chance of not only being our clubs member of the year (although I have really good competition) but that I also may be our clubs 'mission statement of the year' (person who best demonstrates through actions what giving/helping/doing is all about)
LOVE making every green light while driving Grand Ave to Larpentuer Ave on Dale St.
LOVE getting a parking spot on the 3rd floor of the ramp this morning ...
LOVE - going to see Whitney perform in this years Geography B!!!! she made the top 4 in her class and going up against 24 students in the school today.
Joey being sent up for testing to do gifted classes in school... only to be followed by notice from Tommys teacher yesterday that she wants to submit Thomas as well.
Check out this feel good email from his teacher to Steph
I'm so proud of them both!

From his teacher-
When you get the permission slip today there is also a check list with it. The check list is some of the factors that I look at when nominating students. Tommy has such a zest for learning. He is inquisitive and uses reasoning skills well but he also questions things he does not know or understand. He is extremely responsible and be counted on to help others with task also. He has many all around strengths.
I have to warn you about this test. I do have a few students taking the test and I try to let them know that it is serious but to have fun and do what they can. It is a difficult test and somewhat abstract. For instance, they will be shown a picture with much of it erased and they have to identify that object. It tests an abstract way of thinking. Some do well with this. Others have more of a struggle. Either way I thought this would be a good opportunity for Tommy. He is working hard and does have such a quest for knowledge that I thought this might be right up his alley. You have done a terrific job with him!
talking to a friend tonight, she let it slip that she was a former Miss California.
Now when I call her princess, I can really mean it.
I have no idea why, but I do, and I like it.

Thank you all for the congrats. IT's nice to be appreciated. (I'll post why I say that in the OTHER thread)
Note to my mom went more like this:
Sunny is very bright, when she's paying attention to me, and not the little boy who sits 4 rows away. :sheepish:
