She prepped everything Fed Ex Ground, and then sent it with the Fed Ex Air guy.
He (fed ex guy) couldn't scan the packages (as they aren't his BOLS - but the dumbass took them anyways. So the tracking numbers are basically null.
So now - they think they are sitting at the regional hub here - and aren't sure what to do with them. (there are various flaws in Fed Ex's game plan here that are driving me nuts)
So now at 2 - I need to drive down there, and go see someone in person.
It's the principle with this woman that I'm really pissed about. If I wouldn't have stopped her - she was going to value each box at $5 each. I screamed about that, and she putin the max $100 - which doesn't even cover the cost of one pair of the boots/ snow pants etc.
the other woman here who does tracking/shipping (who doesn't work fridays) says this is prolly the 20th time she's done this.
if I go down and find my boxes.. when she comes back on friday - they will have been shipped by the (competant) fed ex person.
however boxes of the same or larger size will be on hand to be pounded somewhere.
This is the same person I have to deal with at harvest who constantly disappears on me or messes something up. *Sigh* how she has stayed this long, I don't know.
Pulley system has 3 pulleys, one is completely disintegrated, one is broke & one is okay
Shield on underbody gone (only $47 for part)
Serpentine Belt is cracked
Radiator fluid is black (they recommend flush)
Valve cover will need to be replaced with this repair also
They also said tires are due to be replaced (I told them no on this)
They are saving the parts from pulleys and will itemize them on the bill saying basically that this was the reason Timing Belt kept needing repairs. They recommend taking the bad pulley parts and invoice to Dave Holt Ford and getting reimbursed for at least the Timing Belt repair since they didnÂ’t fix the problem created by the pulleys themselves. Dave (my boss) recommends taking digital camera photos of the pulley parts to bring with to Dave Holt and if necessary small claims court. Cindy at Tousley made it sound like total bad service by not even checking the pulleysÂ….basic cause and effect for this issue with the timing belt. Anyway, the bottom line is approximated $1300 but should get the car another 100,000 at least, Cindy at Tousley said sheÂ’s got a friend with this same car and they have 370,000 miles on theirs.
What really sucks is that we went to Dave Holt Ford because my wifes cousin is the maintenace manager there. Lot of good he did for us.
I had a car checked once at Tousley. An 85 ford tempo that liked to stall out while I was driving on the freeway. They checked it, said the fuel injector was bad. Took it back to the dealership I got it at and they replaced the MAP sensor and it fixed the issue. Cheaper part by far and they looked at the fuel injector and said it was fine.
Tousley still charged me $100 for their diagnositic check.
yup, i remember when lil" roaster was sick a couple years ago, temp was 104, I was ready to rush him to the emergency room but terry gave me some tips and saved the day  once I got the fever down he was ok.
Learning a classmate from H.S. Just passed away from cancer and left a husband and two very small children. She was 32. I don't actually remember her, but I am shocked just the same.
I guess a semi knocked a number of the center barrier blocks over two lanes and also ruptured it's gas tank in the process. That's all they talked about during this morning's commute. It must have been bad if it's still not cleaned up yet. :worried:
people who can't see the big picture of a project. The co-chair incharge of the facility, just realized that they only provide us with enough tables for the seating for dinner.
NOT the silent auction (which last year was 15 tables alone) NOT the ticket table, Etc. Etc. Etc. Etc.
I asked about this like 4 weeks ago. and NOW - less than 2 days away.. she just 'realized' this.
I arrive Thursday the 25th.
