I have to start keeping track of the time spent doing this. For curiosities sake. With all of the sloggin' time, noodlin' time, driving and digging time... wonder what that all comes up to.
The only thing I have kept track of is that I have driven over 530 miles for the hunt so far...
(wishin' I still had my Geo... got 35 mpg in the city)...
Matty B's is the dinner club/bar or whatever almost straight through the Pioneer Press building. (long way of sayin on the next street west, opposite the PP)
every night but Sunday, when they are closed. Then I don't know what they do. I believe I heard people in days past say they start arriving around 9??? I wouldn't go before 10 myself just to make sure someone is there... but you never know... :smile:
That's a great ad. Backstreet Grill does have great food, IMHO. Great malts, too! And they are close to Harriet Island and downtown. Too bad they don't serve beer, eh?
Treasure Hunt medallion hunters who gather at the Pioneer Press every night awaiting the latest clue will soon get a little entertainment.
The Pioneer Press, Cub Foods and Clear Channel will host two events for Treasure Hunt participants Friday and Jan. 30. The events will be from 11 p.m. to midnight in the newspaper's lobby.
The gatherings, which have drawn up to 1,500 treasure hunters in the past, will be canceled only if the medallion has been found before the scheduled date.
The Friday event will feature radio station K102 and Tuesday's event the radio station KDWB.
Each event will feature music and special prize giveaways, along with the latest Treasure Hunt clue.
Now if only I can remember where/if I packed it!
Might have to start hunting for something besides the medallion..

I believe the current cell phone lingo is:
Ringtone is the tone you the caller hears when you are calling him.
Ringer is the sound the owner of said phone hears from the phone itself.
It works out nice for the cell companies cause they can get you to pay for both lol.
Of course, I never have it on anyway. :goofy:
