I don't think i've noticed it before, but it seems this year, every site that I look at for info on parks says Sliding hill... and that just kinda made me wonder if maybe they weren't big enough to put a full sized sled on or something..
I also need to get at least one more pairs of gloves. I have a good pair of gortex ones, but I'd like something a little thinner that allows me to actually use my fingers in.
Sliding hill sounds like what happens in California during a big rain fall.
I once rode a sliding hill down to Pitt St. (now Concord Exchange) when the bluff gave out on me and a little friend while sitting on the edge of Grandview Park's bluff.
Yeah, Sliding hills are steeper, because you don't need a sled to slide down them. however a sledding hill you would need a sled in order to get to the bottom.

here I wear a non-cotton heavy weight sock with my boots, cause the non-cotton keeps your feet from being wet.
thoughts?
Should I just wait until I get there and hit a target - or does someone have a good brand they can suggest?
My boots are pretty warm on their own, but if my feet are warm.. I'm a happy girl. So I figure the warmer the better.
is there a difference between a SLEDDING hill and a SLIDING hill?
BUT THE TRUTH IS
NO

When I go up to the sierras with my flyer sled... i am sledding.
with all the new tanks popping up around here this year.. (279,600 additional gallons of capacity) you would think they grew right out of the ground.
