You mentioned that there is a policy on alcohol, but what is their policy on assless hunting chaps?? I only break them out for special occaisions and figuring we only do this once a year, I thought it seemed like a good fit. :sillygrin:

The lodge has no official policy on chaps, but since kids might be there, I'm thinking we might summon the Roseville cops to deal with anyone wearing them (we won't be in Roseville, but it will give them something to do).

As an added bonus, I'm going to have a big projection screen set up for watching the Superbowl there later on with my singles club. If anyone wants to stay and watch the Superbowl, that would be fine and a bit of an added bonus.

That will be perfect, before the game begins we can watch Art Vandelay's "Chap Cam" on the projector!!

Looks like those that have voiced an opinion think that it will be wonderful to break with tradition and eat indoors this coming Sunday for the 10th Annual Rehash Bash. Those wishing to later, can do a tour of the park in Roseville that is hiding the prized medallion and the tour of Jake's find.

This is going to be some dangerously cold weather coming this way for the weekend. I don't want anyone getting frostbit or worse. It's different when folks are out digging and moving around.

Exactly. We used to bring our kids out hunting if it was above zero and not too windy. Any heavier winds or below zero temps and they didn't get to come with. It wasn't worth the risk.

Should we start to talk about what we are going to bring as far as food and drinks? I will probably be doing some type of themed appetizer. I remember that at Crosby, my Wings of the Dove went over pretty well. I was thinking this year doing some type of orb(tasty meatball). I just hope that Green brings her deviled eggs!! I love those darn things!

Ares - his lodge is on Front, one block east of Lexington on the south side of Front. It's on the same side of the street as the SA is at Front and Lexington.

Having the RHB indoors sounds really wonderful as I hear it is to be bitter cold this weekend. When you are hunting and moving around in the cold it is one thing, when you are just hangin' around and chatting it is another. The food would all freeze and so would the peeps!

Perhaps you could post a note at the pavillions at hidden falls and central park, indicating where the RHB is moving to. Might clear it up for anyone not reading here.

Noon should be good, and indeed the address is 1044 Front. It is more or less on the corner of Front and Oxford, one block east of Lexington. There is a parking lot there as well as street parking. The kitchen is downstairs and so I think we should do down there. I can turn down the heat if it will make people feel more at home. :smile:

If there are going to be a lot of crock pots, we may need a power strip. We have large coffee pots if anyone wants to bring coffee. There is a commercial oven if anyone needs to cook or bake anything. We also have a small microwave.

There is a rental fee for the lodge of $75 which I'll cover, but if anyone wants to chip in a few dollars towards that, I'll have a basket out

I think that covers everything except for the "program". It will be nice to have people be able to stick around for a while and trade stories and get to know each other.
