buying a new set of cordless phones right before christmas. having the handsets go on sale in sundays paper and getting 43 bucks back plus a free additional handset out of the deal. selling the old system on ebay, duly noting that one of the phones sometimes exhibits staticky behavior, and another one has been "texturized" by the dog, and managing 160 bucks for the whole works.

I was having a very hard time not screaming when I was on the phone with Zephy. In fact I was so happy, I didn't stay on long for fear I'd wreck my car as I drove from my butt dancing in the seat.

The .03 disbursement check I got today from Merrill Lynch. I had cashed out a retirement account that was from a job I only held for a short time and wasn't worth keeping invested. They must have miscalculated the first disbursement by .03 and corrected it with this check.
I think I'll frame it and write retirement check across the front or something. :goofy:
Or send them a letter thanking them and saying I had noticed it was .03 short.
Or ask if I can return it and if they would reinvest it for me. :smile:

I used to use it on gc.com to get google map/earth links before they even added that to the cache pages.
Today I used it on my old yahoo photo account to download the original resolution images I had uploaded to it years back.
