Pre-Dig Gig, Rehash Bash and other Cooler events

The Rehash Bash starts at noon. Super Bowl is later...and it just worked out that way this year. If the puck had been found even on Saturday the 27th, the RHB would have been on the 28th.

For many years Superbowl Sunday happened during the hunt. It's just been recently that it's ended up moving back a week.

not a bad question. Why couldn't we do it on the SATURDAY after next year? too soon? If it's found on sat it could be the first Sunday, but if it goes longer than saturday, make the RHB the next saturday.

Too complicated?

I think it would be cooler to have some "treasures" hidden for the kids that attend.

Kinda hard though if we're inside.

DON'T ALL MASON LODGES HAVE "TREASURES" BUILT INTO WALLS ETC...

I think it would be great fun to have some sort of hunt for the kiddies or some activity for them, my kids were bummed they didn't get to hunt with me because it was so cold. They thought it was cool they got to see the 12th clue where everyone was looking for the medalion on that link someone posted in the other thread.

What is the plan? I had heard at the Masonic Lodge on Front and Lexington(?)

I have drill until 4pm... would I get there too late? I am gonna try and cry a river to get out early Sunday... (I don't even have a babysitter for my youngest yet... Totally blew off the idea that I may have crap to do this weekend...)

or you can do what i did today. we had a team building event over at the st paul curling club. interesting sport that be. i took a nice fall. head bounced off ice. glasses flew off face. got up and noticed a nice "y" shaped crack deep in the ice where my head hit. lucky i can see straight right now.

Cluemaster is right, no alcohol is allowed in the Mason Lodge. The parking lot on the other hand is a different matter. And then Gabe's and Half Time Rec are nearby.

I'm not sure how late it will be going, but like I said, I have a big projection screen set up for the Superbowl so some people might stick around late for that.

Looks like the temp right now is 12 below with wind chill advisories out. I'm glad people were willing to switch indoors this year or it may have been the shortest rehash in history.

I'm aiming to get to my Mason lodge around 11:30am, so there's no point in arriving any earlier than that.

And again, if people want to stay late, or come late, I have a digital video projector and movie screen set up to show the Superbowl.

I love that Goulash. I think my mom made it for us when we were young. Can't wait to see everyone today!

Yes and no (possibly).... My furnace went out and the repair dude won't be here until 11-1130.
