We have a couple of wells, a couple of track/racing references, a couple of battle references, a couple educational references, a couple of tennis references...brother, we got it all!
Have we missed the obvious? We haven't talked much about street names. They usually point in that direction by clue #6!!!! All of these clues can't be landmarks, alone!
Attention past finders of the treasure!!!! I would like a group photo for the Treasure Hunter's Guide "Hall of Fame". Please send me an e-mail to see if we can get together at the park. Give me your hunting schedule for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
This last clue "a well trained eye" eludes to Iris Park, also it is located in the Midway area "opposites attract" (St. Paul & Mpls) , but looking to King Boreas' direction would be to look to St. Paul, and this park is close to the Amtrak Depot. Also it is a small park, and could almost miss it (so as to need to be astute to find it.), but the rest of the clues - I don't know how they would fit in.
OK CHECK THIS OUT HOMIES..... C # 2....'win all the loot' C # 5 ...'cloudy and foul'= DULUTH/CLEAR=PHALEN....plus line up the grid of boreas directly N on Duluth St and TWAT do we line up with????? KSTP am Radio 1500 tower top this off with the others and i put IN THE freakin ICE on the lake???OMG
I just got something here..."well trained eye" unscrambles into "in red wallet"...try that on for size...could be somethin to that...doesnt help pinpoint anything but may help anyway....
I don't want to get in the way of your jam session, but I just wanted to say something. I work at the PP, so I can't join the hunt. I've been enjoying all the posts during the past few days. This is the closest I can come to participating in the contest. I guess the one thing I can boast is that I've actually held the medallion in my hand. It's really neat. I hope that you all get to do that some day. Keep up the good work! It will be interesting when they reveal what the clues mean--then we'll know who was right, etc. Anyway, thanks for the fun!!:)
Annette B I like that park drove by it yesterday. It has a large drain in it that could be a refief from the rain. East and West Lynhurst ave comes together oppisits???

cloudy and foul= fair(view) / midway stadium extract=PIERCE butler NEWell???? LOL
newell has RR tracks, linwood RR tracks phalen bike tracks hidden falss bike tracks cherokee RR tracks mounds RR tracks battle bike tracks conway has neither
That all kind of points to Newell, except the tower thing. I could not see any when I was there.
BUT HEY BACK TO THE MEDALLION
RUsty, opps of cloudy also equals fair, theirs two fairs at newell, fairview, and a view of the fair, ha ha
I'm outta here everyne, gettin' up at 6:00 to hit the parks
WE WENT TO NEWELL LAST NIGHT AND AL THE CLUES FIT!!! THE SWITCH YARD IS ACROSSED THE STREET...PIERCE BUTLER....."SERVE"
newell has towers,
Can a Linwood fan explain to me how it fits? ...I haven't even looked at it yet.
newell has promise, but the clues also fit my grandmother still
Anyone Like Newell still?
YES LOTS OF TOWERS
Kellogg has a plaque with Pigs Eye looking towards the 1st bank tower, and a magnit school but I don't see any cloudy foul mood or opposits.
Which towers?
well trained eye- piercing eyes? = Pierce Butler?

I've narrowed it to 3 starting with first preference!
1. SWEDE HOLLOW
2. BATTLE CREEK off 61
3. NEWELL
PHALEN isn't out but it is fading fast!!
