Getting voicemail telling me that I won something in the Snow Frolics drawing in NSP. They didn't say what I had won, but I have until 5 PM on Monday to pick it up or they will bury it in the snowbank in front of the snowman.
not being on the board of directors at my old job.
Note to self: never get too involved in a company, unless you actually own it. Just make sure anything you do can't come back and hold you legally/fiscally responsible for a company's problems.
I live down the street from one, and I don't even know the name of it. (or the church right next door)... But I could get to the major parks in St. Paul without a map... go figure.
ours isn't really "in" our backyard. more like across the bridge over the pond. its rather nice being able to supervise the kids at the park from the deck.
Enjoy: The Girl I've been seeing deciding not to get together on Valentine's day.
I went a little overboard for V-day last week (she had sugery, so I did it early) and on Monday when I asked if she wanted me to come over and hang out with her to stave off boredom, she said "Oh, I don't care."
Grr...
The good news is, a) I don't have to see "I don't care" on V-day, and b) I had dinner last night with the most amazing woman...we were asked to leave Green Mill last night because we were there for 4 hours talking...and I got a txt message this morning saying 'I can't wait to see you again."
 Me? Hi-oh!
Maybe things will turn out well for our hero after all... :sheepish:
I just have a second to write—actually been teaching and stuff today which means little computer time.
Yes, I am swamped. Yes, I can’t even imagine how I am going to accomplish my to-do list before Friday morning. Yes, I have a quiz in my yucky physiology class tomorrow. But…I would much rather see you tonight than worry about any of that. My first hour kids noted that I seemed “extra happy” today and I haven’t been able to stop smiling.
I wonder how they would taste with spam?
winning our soccer game tonight!
yeah, I know- I'm a strange one
we know.
 :goofy:
From my office.
On the 6th floor.
When the car is in the parking ramp.

Getting an excited phone call from him, when he opened what I sent him the other day for Vday.
Him - in all forms.

I love cards. Especially homemade ones.
From the woman I really wanted
to see tonight:
Hey there,
I just have a second to write—actually been teaching and stuff today which means little computer time.

I should be free after 5:30. Low-key sounds good
I'm such a hunk of man-cheese, seriously...
Then why do you smell like beef?
