I tried to call you back last night but you didn't answer.
Turns out I was waiting 45 minutes at a dead stop on highway 35E between Maryland and Pennsylvania Ave. fro 7:15 til 8 pm. Both directions on 35E were shut down. I've never seen anything like it. 100's of cars were driving UP the entrance ramps to get off the highway. I just hope no one got hurt.
Glad to hear you had a nice dinner. I love Green Mill.
oh, :sheepish: :ooh: losing track of time? - sounds like you've gained more than you lost
we actually had some action here this morning, 2 ambulances and a couple cops at the neighbors at 4 AM, i am really curious to find out what happened, Andy is friends with the kids in that house and I know the parents are loosers, hope the kids are ok :frown:
So my famed caffeine tolerance has evidently left me. I could NOT sleep last night. I blame the latte. Or maybe my Rummikub humbling. Or maybe just being giddy after meeting an amazing guy who takes my breath away.
an e-mail thats written like a real "letter to a friend" instead of the same ol joke after joke. don't get me wrong, I like those too. But, to get an actual letter...it's like...... getting mail! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Doing a good deed by going the extra mile and looking up a phone number (with Mr Meds help) of someone who misadressed an envelope to my house. They sent a birthday card with a $20 check in it, unsealed to my house, so I called and found out it belongs down the street. So instead of delaying it by forwarding through the mail, I'll drop it off my self.
It looked like someone old adressed it, so thats why I took an effort to fix it.
::stands high on my chair and waves to bear and me2.....too bad since i am in eagan they cant see me...hmmmm.::
Being sick for the umpteenth day in a row and sneaking out of work early since there are no bosses here today!! YAY!
On Super Bowl Sunday we were watching the game and I realized a neighbor down the street left their lights on in the truck. (remember how cold it was). So after about 20 minutes I went down to let them know. The lady opened the door and was completely freaked out at why I was standing there. It took her to realize after I was walking away. She then shouted thank you the truck would have died. It was really nice to come out in this weather to let us know.....
Sometimes people going the extra mile make a difference, like telling about lights, or hand delivering a bday card......WAY TO GO MIKEY!!!
Seriously.
You guys.
Seriously.
oh wait...the door is gone?? me confused
fwiw

I figured the CIA came in and cleaned up a high speed chase that involved agents
