I wouldn't want to miss out on any ofthe baby stages or growing up stages..Cut out baby/kid being crabby/crying and staying up at night for 3 am parties in their room and motherhood would be great...

Laying in bed trying to take a nap this afternoon was totally out of the question, because she was kickin my ass!! LOL literally! So I snuggled up next to Mark's back and let her kick his ass for a while :wink:
Mystical, I am so happy for you. Where are ya gonna have the baby? I have a OB clinical in early April, I get to take care of moms and their babies. I can't wait! :smile:
Hey you!!! Long time no talk/see!! I was just tellin your hubby that we'll all have to get together one of these days :smile: I'll be having the baby at St.John's up here in Maplewood. It's nice because it's only like 2 minutes away from our house. They have one of the best Neo Natal units in the state, and their LDR rooms are really really nice. I'm so excited!! Only 7 more wks 2 go!!!
I won't be at St.John's :frown: I have to be at Woodwinds. I hear that St.Johns has a good Neo Natal unit, I'm sure you will like it there. We do have some students going there so maybe you'll get to meet some of my classmates around the time when you have your baby. Do you know if your having a boy or a girl? I'm really excited for you, your going to be such a great mom! As far as getting together...just let us know what works for you guys, would be great to see you :smile:
We're having a girl :smile: We're naming her Kaitlynn Gabrielle. We just painted the baby's room and put the crib together. Sue.. lol being her sneaky self ( I love her to pieces!!) suprised us on Thursday with our crib! I cried!! It was so nice of her and Jason. She had kidnapped us earlier that day and took us around IKEA. It's been around for so long and I hadn't been out there.. lol I was a virgin!! Ha!! We had a blast though. I'd like to get together before the baby's born, but I don't know of we'll have the time, but definately after she's born we'll have you over for dinner or something :smile: How has everything been going? How are the kids? I imagine they're huge by now since the last time we saw them!!
Yay!! Girls are great. They are a little harder to raise than boys (in my opinion) but they are still fun. You picked a very pretty name for her too. My daughter just re-did her room because "Mom, I'm not a baby anymore" and I was wondering if you guys would be interested in some things. She has a small bookcase and some shelves and a little 2- tiered flower table Everything matches. There are some wall hangings too. I hate to just throw it away because it is cute and in good condition. Let me know if your interested. It isn't top of the line or anything but with a toddler you probably wouldn't want anything expensive anyway because they know how to tear things apart! You are correct, Sue and Jason are wonderful people, I owe them a lot for being there for me while Zeph was gone in Iraq. They have hearts of gold!! Kids are good, getting big. I am in school working my ass off so I can graduate, other than that we are boring. Don't have much of a social life with work and school and kids. It is all worth it though, especially being a parent, you'll find out it's the best job in the whole world. :smile:
Just a baby update!! Baby Kaitlynn is weighing in at about 6 lbs 9 oz so far.. and I still have 4 more wks to go!! I can't wait!! So far, she's growing at the rate she should be, even a few days ahead of schedule!
MM - I'm excited for you too! Take good care of yourself. You will soon be enjoying sleep interrupted nights, a whirlwind of diapers, and the greatest experience of being a Mom.
Baby pics would be great! 6lbs 9oz is good size figuring you still have some time to go yet. They grow at such a fast rate! With our youngest my last check before I had him they said 8 lbs, a couple of weeks later when I had him he weighed 9lbs 5 oz. He was HUGE!!! Looked like he was a month old already!
I'm so excited!!! I can't wait!! I'm trying to get a visual idea of how big 33 cms is... and I can't find anything.. lol. My OB said her head will grow about a half cm every week from here on out.. that's a scary thought!!
Former OB nurse here, but I looked this stuff up, just to be sure I recalled it correctly.
Normal full-term newborn head circumference: 33 to 38 cm which is approx. 13-15". I've seen plenty of newborns between 12" and 13" too.
Also, a baby's head is still pretty maleable, due to the presence of two "soft spots" and the bones of the skull can even slide over one another a bit if need be.
Diameter of a full-term newborn's head is approximately 10cm, which is why the magic number for dilation is 10. Actual maximum dilation may be slight more or less than that - whatever it takes to get through!

well... 37 wks along as of today :smile: I'm dialated 1 cm and about 80% effaced... so... I may or may not go early. LOL wouldn't bother me if she came a lil before her due date.. I'm soooooooooo ready!
But there is lots of celebrating to do once they get grown up and have turned out to be fine ladies. :smile:
