Yeah, I'm sorry that I really didn't get everyone in the pics at the pre-dig. Apparently I stayed in the same room the entire night :sheepish:

Another cool icicle shot! I'm gonna have to try and take a few like that. They make nice shots.

I've had trouble getting the right links on yahoo photos too. What I do is mail myself an invite to veiw the album, then copy the link from the email I get.

I wish they would just have a copy and paste code on the page to make it easier for us.

I used a "copy shortcut" and "paste" which worked fine...the problem was that you have to set permission to "public" and I was having trouble doing that...so I had to re-do it....blah,blah,blah :eyeroll:

I use Shutterfly or Flickr. They both are easy to use.

becksie - just an FYI with yahoo. sometimes it gives you an option of 'public' but with the restriction that they have to be members of yahoo.. (for their 360 group stuff) Just makesure you get the little globe icon at the top of the folder and you will be fine.

the nice thing about yahoo - rather than shutterfly or snapfish - is with proper permissions - anyone can save - or send to print copies of the photos for themselves. Other programs don't give you that lattitude.

The files are still nice and large too.

Hey cluey we use to work close to each other. I use to work at the Public Safety Facility (to the right of the court house in the top picture)

just found out recently that its also the building that Aerosmith used, when they filmed the video for "I dont want to miss a thing"

Yeah, you said it was a parking facility now right? You can see it behind the Government Center.

Here's a couple from around the house just now. Only one car for the last 2 hours and I happen to capture it. heh

yep... thats it...

Its currently used as a parking garage... been one since like 97 or 98 or thereabouts...

Its also on the national register of historic places.... was built in 1935 for the national guard....

they used to use it for tons of events back from the 30's up til the 70's/early 80's when the national guard abaondoned it....

Hennepin County tried to build a jail on the site back in the late 80's but the supreme court blocked them from doing so....

pffffttt.....

dont even ask me how or why I know about the place....

I wish somebody would do something with the place, rather than just use it for parking....

there were actually still bleachers in the place, as of a few years ago....

I'll try and get some decent pics, the next time that i'm over that way...

I want to take some pics of various establishments in/around DT MPLS anyhow...

Obviously impressed with LARRY'S ability to suck so hard on his harmonica that screeching little noises come out of it, MARY kneels again and reaches upward in gestures of supplication, listening intently as LARRY continues to sing...
