Ali is taking it hard. But I think some of the crying is directed somewhere else. Even though he died up north where he lived the last years of his life, they're going to have his funeral down here in the cities where he grew up. That was kinda nice.
so...does anyone know what time the parade is on Saturday? I think it's at noon but am not really sure. Matty Bs is having bands in a tent in the back so I think that will be one of the spots I hit...
Thanks for all the words of support and sympathy. Its been a long battle and we new the end was coming but it doesn't make the realization that he is finally gone any easier, but like I told TC yesterday I'm at peace with his passing because it means he isn't suffering anymore.

Its always sad, but it's a blessing that the suffering is over. Hope you find the support you need in your greif.
My wife's Grandpa - Ali's Great-Grandpa, passed away peacefully last night as well. He was surrounded by family. We could be so lucky.
