Oh sweetie. That is what my LB had. (make sure when he come home to put him in the heathy urinary tract food, it does help)
My little guy lived another 4 and a half years after the surgery (the cat that died in Oct) but I wouldn't have changed doing it for the world. After, he seemed always a little more lovey and greatful - and I knew his time would be shortened, and perhaps doted on him a bit more too.
p.s. the Walmart by me, carries the Iams Urinary Tract for a fraction of the price that the pet stores have it at. If you don't mind wally-world.
My vet is 24 hours. I went to get hunters stitches out early Sat morning (cause they asked me to come in prior to appointments, since we were just a drop in) and they had been broken into and robbed in the middle of the night. The people tied up the couple of techs on duty, stole the safes, and all the flea prevention stuff... left all the pain killers and sedatives though... strange.
Hunter had to get a sedative to have the stitches taken out.. so I had a drunk dog on my hands for 2 hours... funny stuff. His tongue was out.. he was swaying and falling over.. etc.
gonna have to check into the pet health insurance stuff... curious as to how much it is... Although seeing another health insurance premium might make me wish I didn't have three pets...
I mentioned how Im sad at the jump on final bids on winter carnival items have been lately on things I want....
then I was secretly told --- (I can keep secrets - just not this one) off the record ....that there won't be a winter carnival soon - supposedly everyone cept Kates been fired? yowza
That would be pretty sad given they only gave the Harriet Island thing one chance. I'm sure the revenue wasn't what they had hoped for because of the cold weather, but I thought it was a good idea anyway.
So I've been in D.C. all weekend and I'm coming home tommorrow... I just found out yesterday that one of my cats died, he was almost 19 and I had him since I was 4. :frown: It's possible that it was related to the recent rat poison scare, but he was old and it could have just been his time to go. Strange thing is that my other cat who is almost 20 ate the same food from the same can and he's fine.
On the bright side, I was in the gallery for the floor debate and vote in the U.S. House for the Iraq War vote. Finally a step in the right direction!

"Plan ahead for the 2008 Winter Carnival: January 25, 2008 - February 4, 2008"
I can live without snow sculptures and ice sculptures, and a frozen throne to get my picture taken on.....
but, take away my hunt, and the parades and such... and theres gonna be a problem
Great. Now I'm gonna have to build a beach in our basement so I don't go bonkers...
Happy Birthday Kat!
$883 at the animal hospital and $60 at the vet... most expensive pet I have ever owned...
<-- going to put all sick pets on a plane and send them to Zeph with a order to call me for a credit card when they reach the vet.
I know it's not the first, but it's my first!
Sorry... dont want to bring it up on here.
hopefully, some people know how to get ahold of me, if anything comes up.
