Barefootguy's Hunt for the Golden Egg

Submitted by Clue Master on
Clue 1:
Hey treasure hunter, don't be a punter!
Stay in the eye of the pig
Search high, search low, but make sure as you go
Destroy nothing while you dig

The puck has been concealed, so here's the deal:
The treasure is not all that I've hid
Three eggs of blue shall give you a clue-
Old hiding places do bid

Clue 2:
You could have a lot of fun
Noodling clues and channeling bards.
Have a seat and something to eat,
Riches for you could be in the cards

Clue 3:
Con artist I am not
Nor will I guide you to the spot
Ma always said to bring plenty of kiwi,
Cloud 9 awaits at a former Mounds spot.

Clue 4:
Have yourself a splashingly good time
Find a place for the kiddies to play.
As you look around in the park you have found
Where a city ends is where you should stay

Clue #5
Numbers, numbers. Numbers galore!
Sit on 16, 18 by 24
12 and 13 can help you a ton;
But 13 is helpful in more ways than one

Clue 5 1/2:
Across from Obbs is the place to be,
Go to the bluff top where the path makes a "T"
Down the left path between 70 and 100 paces,
Look to your left and you're off to the races.

Clue 6:
Go you and forage, don't get discouraged
As you hunt and search and comb
Get your melon to a former HF dwellin'
Take your big car to a former national home

Clue 7:
Go to the brink, don't stop and think,
As your quest begins to wane.
Walk, don't run, as you're having all this fun,
Take a jaunt down lucky lane

Clue 8:
As this hunt nears its final bout, you might be getting worn out.
I'd help you if I could
If you don't want to miss, just remember this:
An ocean wouldn't help you, but a...

Clue 9:
As you grow hunt-weary, stand up proud! don't beg
The final clue awaits you, hidden in an egg
Get downtown now, I know this won't bring me many cheers;
The clue can be thine if you look inside a historical sign
In the eastern corner of the park known as Mear

Questing

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search

Questing is a game played across a community or geographic place. Originally coined in the USA, it is similar to the concept of letterboxing where clues lead to sealed boxes to be found in a type of treasure hunt...

I was hopping to find a blue egg last night to give a better clue idea to the gold - but now that my busy week is over Ive had a better chance to look over the clues and a couple other things and hopefully have a clearer picture of where it may be ....

I'll be out there in a bit -Ive got til about 2:30 to search today. tecniqually without 2 eggs found and 1 clue to go --- we're searching on clue 9 right now - I don't think we are all doing bad for 9 clues and so few of us out there.

Good Luck everyone

Alex, you could not have picked a nicer week to have your hunt. Even if I don't find anything, it's been great to get out and enjoy the global warming this week. I think it's really cool to be able to see how much vegitation has popped up/out in the short time we've been hunting.

FYI, I'm going to be at the Minnesota Young Democrats convention all afternoon and I probably won't have my phone on. If someone happens to find it today, please leave me a voice mail and just post it on here.

my dad is in the hospital, with a real bad amonia....

I know I spelled that wrong... whatever...

they also found a node in his chest a week or so ago.. thinking he might have lung cancer...

Im currently, staying at the house back here on the east side to take care of my dog and cat, while he's in there....

which kinda sucks in its own way for various reasons....

If anybody who knows where i'm at or as been to the house before, feels like they wanna hang out/stop by, feel free to do so....

I realize i'm going to sound like an asshole for saying this, but quite honestly.... I feel like I dont care what happens....

mmmmm- your question was if the person who finds the egg in Mears the only one that can find the gold in another park? no- the clues DO give you hints to the right park-

but, the answer is also yes because Becks, me2 & Jake found the golden egg in Highland 5 minutes ago

beach!!!!!

beachwood - yowza!

brink - edge (cumbe) - comb?

The golden egg was located at the bottom of a ravine in/on/under a log next to a tire in Highland park - just off of Hamline between edgecumb and beachwood

There is still 1 blue egg out there
