I created a new thread for the North Oaks hunt. If any of you want to come up here to look for it, I'd be happy to claim the prize for you if you find it.
Short answer yes. Long answer, it's more hassle than it's worth for the time it'll take.
I'm used to not getting rentals though. When I had a new car, I was always promised them from the dealership, but never actually got one when I needed it, they cited the work to the car had to be over 24 hours, but they never knew how long something would take until it's done. That was a catch 22, but it got me used to not getting one and having to make due.
#1. Winter Carnival has a new face, the first annual medallion is hidden in its place. So have fun and get out there, but don't forget your long underwear!
#2. Look down to the ground and up to the sky, just make sure you don't get snow in your eye!
#3.They don't have meal plans; that part is true but their clothes get dirty like the rest of ours do.
#4. Brian Levin-Stankevich may not live there but the Medallion is where he would wash his long underwear!
..hmm...from the spectator...an univesity newspaper in e.claire
Line up for the Hunt, if you dare enter in. The search for the medallion, is about to begin! It is open to all. On public grounds to be found. No digging or climbing or stumbling around

I'M SOOO TEMPTED TO GO AND HUNT THIS AN TAKE THEIR BALL AND GO HOME.
Sucky time of year to be without a car. Actually that just sucks in general anyway.
Thanks CM. Hopefully I'll be in line one of these evenings, depending on how my situation works out.

Think they'd dare hide it in Central park? I'm guessing they'll at least mention it in their clues.
If there is one, I need to plan the time off work, must defend my title.

Clue #1 for Friday February 2nd, 2007:
The Snowflake Days Medallion is on public, city and fun space.
When you hunt do not damage any place.
There was an old Medal named Lion.
Who was lost and so he was cryin'.
He hid in the park.
Until it was dark.
Now the reason for this I'm buyin'.
Because he caught someone spyin'.
Clue #2 for Saturday February 3rd, 2007:
Where some green stuff grows.
To carpet a surface where they utilize throws.
If the net sticks seem in a line or row.
A screen for ball sticks near where you will go.
