haha you get sleep whats that!!! on Thursdays I get up and go to work have to be to work at 8pm and wake up at about 4 or 5pm then Fridays I don't sleep because I wasted the rest of the week!!! doing nothing so I have to play ketchup lol!!!
I just talked with our original contractor who was there with the adjuster this morning. I mentioned that I wanted a bid from him and he said that our 'contract' says that they will pay for the entire replacement for whatever the insurance company pays me. I asked what that amount was. he said full replacement. I informed him that I deal with contracts all the time and that this one was in no way a signed agreement stating that I needed to go with them. It just said that if I did, that I would give them what the insurance company gave me minus my deductible. I understand that but I also know that I probably could get free windows and my deductible paid for if the insurance $ was high enough. Allstate pays me, not the contractor, so it's my money to do with what I want. And I did mention that I appreciated the time they put into it and that I would take that into consideration, but that happens all the time in my business. I need to get 3 proposals for most of the major work or purchases which sometimes takes the sales guys hours to put together. All with the hope that they will get the contract. There's always two people who put their time in for nothing. At that time anyway.
He started to get a tone with me but also seemed to calm down and go into sales mode again once I told him what I do. And I see it from both ends too. I play the sales guy a lot too. So I know what people want and also know what I can do. I just gave away a $950 window cleaning job for free because of what it could do for me in the long run.
We'll see how they handle this going forward.

It's been a hectic couple of weeks - but watching the faces of graduates (whether they're HS or College) Smiling ear to ear, feeling that pride of accomplishing something great - and hearing the families hoot & holler as their name is called to cross that stage - AHHH what a way to end the week!

Having to choose between three job offers, starting two weeks after I got let go from the last one - of which the lowest offer is still a 5k raise from the job that fired me...yipee!

it was almost like he was a dream or a translucent that was needed ... he was there and now we will never see him again but he made a profound impact on us. I will always think of him and the 'gifts' he gave unconditionally (the glowing pipe) ... as he rode off into the distance to Wisconsin for donuts and music...and we shared it together ::sigh:: just wow
He was a type of spirit for sure. I seen him riding along on my way to hwy 52 when leaving at 3:30. He knew exactly what to say and do. Very emotional for me.

Among our stops today, we stopped at the Coffee Cup for a meal. As we entered, Bill (Corky) Finney was sitting in a booth with another gentleman. I said hi as we went by but Brenda had to stop and say "Did you used to work at Central?" (She knew she recognized him, but didn't know where from.) I turned back around and heard her introducing herself. We just chuckled and kept going to find a table.
So she gets to the table and I said - you know he is the former Chief of Police in St. Paul, didn't you? And that he used to attend all the festivals and doings in our neighborhood. She started laughing...that's just what he told her.
Then I told her he had run for county sheriff in the last election...and that he probably wondered why she didn't know who the heck he was being his picture was plastered all over town. She really got the giggles then.
1) going to some comedy thing tonight with a friend of mine in the city. I get to dress all 'city girl' for it too.
2) finding out mi mono (<-my monkey, affectionate translation, not literal for the animal)Jaime is coming to New Orleans next week!!! Also I get to see him when I go to Mexico next month. he is my pal, I love him to bits! My spanish is so going to rock by end of summer.
3) maybe driving back to the city tomorrow for a concert, but might be going alone - its in SF's golden gate park, it's beautiful in the meadow - Mat Kearney, Semisonic and someone else.
get in called for my sec. interview on Friday well I sat at the hospital for 15 hrs. just to have them say looking at your history and your medacl condion your fine to go home!!!! ya I have only tryed to kill myself 6 time in the last 9 years and have found new and fun ways of doing it!!! so I call my mom and had her come get all my knifes and stuff that I could do damage with out of my place!! she is worried I have never done that before!!!
so here I sit at home with it safe proffed as much as I can have it thinking listen o music and havent slept in almost 72 hrs!!! my mind is starting to play eavn more games on me but when I fall asleep I start to have dreams about how to end it!!! so until they will let me go in to get my meds changed and hold me for 72 hrs or longer if needed I am going out tonight I dont know if its a good idea or not but I will see!!! once I get there!!! a friend is haveing a kegger for his birthday with a ton of people I know from the bar so I will have to see what happens!! after bar close it will be crazyer then hell because alot of people said the would be over after bar close!!!! but the nice thing is its only 2 miles from my house so if I get to drunk I can walk it or cab who knows maybe eavn take a women home to clear my head the rest of the way!!!! I have the shakes so bad right now its not eavn funny I can hole my hands still at all It si now taking me 2 hrs to wright this one and some of the other ones I have posted!!! I have 4 windows open on my 2 monters I have been watching movies and posting on my other boards for the last 24 hrs!!!
sorry to dump all this here but the other boards that I go on would rip me apart if I posted something like this there!! and I need to get it out!!! I have tryed bloging it and it dosnt work for me!!!! some of you it mite work for just not ME!!!

I was talking with Becksie on the phone this afternoon. She tells me she was text messaging with a guy friend and somehow it turned into a "text fight" (somehow something got taken the wrong way-which seems to be pretty normal between men and women) ... she continues to convey that she had never been in a texting fight before... I responded to her that she should ask him if they can have "make-up text" - hahahahahahha I love when I can slay myself! hahahahahahaha :goofy: :pbpt:
