My 18 yr old!!

The boy was doing good - found a job that he loves, had a place to stay for free (grandparents), took his GED and passed, is one week away from getting a nice raise at work, one week away from getting his driver's license and one week away from having a truck signed over to him.... He decides to visit his loser 21yr old friend (no job, no plans, no car), so he calls into work sick, lies to his grandparents about going somewhere with a friend Friday night, takes the truck without asking, drives illegally 4 hours here to the cities - why?!?! He doesn't know!!!!! And now has no way back up north and doesn't know what he wants to do (even though he has no job, money or a place to stay down here).

I'm so sorry. Kids have a way of making decisions because it sounds fun at the moment.

trying to avoid alot of negative people but here i am sitting getting my tattoo worked on!!!!! with my brother who is so negative that he makes me feel like i am in a dark hole some where!!! :frown:

I was told the other night to slow down, in my work, because i'm making the other guys (most of whom have been there for 15-20 years) look bad....

and two consecutive work nights in a row, my days were suddenly switched, without my knowledge, and I found out about it, when I went to punch in, to start working...

this place was only meant to be a temporary deal anyways..... but still....

you'd think that they'd like the fact that I know how to do the job, because i've done it before....

I say the hell with them just keep doing what you have been doing and leave them deal with getting yelled at for slacking off then they got NO reason to fire YOU!!!!! or anything eles and leave them run there mouth karma well get them in the long run!!!

I miss the days when every show we went to had general admission on the floor...

no seats... just stand and watch...

if you were lucky enough to get one of those tix, and needed to sit down, you were able to go back up into the seating, off of the main arena floor...

I hope Manson/Slayer is like that, if I end up going....

I got a parking ticket on Victoria and Goodrich while I was in the cities - just meeting a friend for dinner on Grand Avenue - no place to park, and I thought I was being so careful to park where there was no yellow curb, others were parked there, I was between the "alley to here" and "here to corner" signs. What I missed was the sign about the permit #9 - which it turns out is a residential parking permit. $25. I talked to the parking enforcement cop in the area - not the same one who wrote the ticket - and he encouraged me to call and explain and maybe they would help me. I am scared to call.

Well, I just got up my nerve and called. Of course, it doesn't just require a phone call. I have to write a letter. So...I will do that. After I deal with my computer rebates so I don't miss the deadlines!

my professor not posting the last quiz results yet.

If I have a good enough score I won't even have to take the last 2 quizes. But I won't know until he posts the results online for quiz #8.

(The lowest 2 get thrown out and I already have a ave of 90 for the 7 I took, but need one more because the final is the average of the top 8 )

So I may be studying here for nothing getting ready for #9 and 10 tonight. If I keep my ave above 90 its an automatic "A" even without the last 2 scores.

Bummer. Keep bugging him until he posts them.

Not so much irritating as annoying: Very Hectic day today. A ton of things to get done and no time.

Why am I typing this? I guess I needed a minute or two break. Glad I got out for my walk this morning, I think that's the most relaxation I'll get today. At least I'm too busy to eat :chagrin:

getting pulled over for doing 85 in a 65 on my way home from the airport :frown: however, having 3 other hot girls in the car, who all explained how tired we were from our long flight, and promising!!! (with big puppy dog eyes) not to speed the rest of the way home.

a while ago - we figured if we couldn't see anything good that we'd move to the list of seats I found on ebay that were not sold - or just walk to the back to see everything - til they made us sit in our seats :wink:
