I guess I have to go and grabe some clues we are a week behind!! or 2!!!!
Dang, go tasty pizza... really stepping up the prizes.
And thanks girlbassist for posting the columbia heights clues. I'll haveta get out there tomorrow around work hours. I saw some people looking around the peace clock for cryin out loud, I guess they're desperate.
I called her at work, and said "did you know that theres hunt over there? and furthermore, did you know one of your rival pizza places is doing the clues??"
so now we're on that one
I think I'm going to head over and pick up todays clue, at some point.
I was waiting for someone to post that since I can't see if it did it or not.
Yes it was me. :sheepish: Sorry about that. I moved the entire Small Town Hunt thread to the WBL discussion and then back again. The two move buttons are too close together. Just mark as read.
Maybe I should do that in the Rules thread?
Carolyn/girlbassist says that these two clues eliminate 4 more parks that she can think of...
she's been all over Keyes park, the last couple of days.... hasnt found much of anything, except a baseball.
We're thinking that the last clues come out tomorrow... because the festival and everything is over on sunday, with some kind of ceremony, that you're required to be at, if you find the med.
they've been doing 2 clues a day - one at 11AM and one at 5PM.... available only at Tasty Pizza
I don't think it's keyes. The clues have eliminated a few parks at a time, keyes was knocked out when it was mentioned with hilltop. I only wish I knew the last 3 hiding spots or I'd have more off the list.
My coworker and I searched mckenna, curt ramsdell, ostrander and prestemon before it got too dark out. Sorry, but Columbia Heights is way too ghetto for me to be searching a park there after dark. I can't imagine them hiding it tougher than the places I searched for it. If they did, they're begging for their parks to be torn apart.
The only other ones on my list to search would be silver lake, labelle and sullivan lake. I don't know if I'll get a chance to get out there tomorrow though.
sigh* I've put a lot of effort and time into these city hunts, and have yet to find a single one. Either I need more effort, or a lot more luck.
Joel I agree that you should just go get it. They know we use computers and gps's and they should have been smarter about it. Maybe you'd be doing them a favor and letting them know their web security sucks. Who knows what else you could find on their site if you looked hard enough. Theres been numerous articles in the paper saying we use technology to find stuff, so how can it be wrong to actually do it?
heres the info on blaines!!

but too busy for the medallion to be
its now t.i.m.e to put you on par
if you've crossed university, you've gone too far
Clue #6
silver belle is a christmas tune,
not something you'd norm...ally hear in june
Anoka county is a great place
but this county park will slow down your pace
In the "t.i.m.e" deal, and also in "norm...ally"

Why were they so stupid?
I think you might as well go pick it up...

IDIOTS! Why did you have to do that!!!!
you deserve it
your a really good guy - you got the best break!
go get it
we can go to the wbl location or kaposia -
doesnt matter to me
Can't say I'm thrilled though.
This is not the way I want to find one.
Alas grab your button and GPS as this fun hunt begins,
where the golden medallion is at, look to where the trail ends
If itÂ’s the treasure on this adventure for which you have set your mark,
I can tell you it will be somewhere in a Roseville Park.
So good luck to you all as weÂ’ll be waiting to see,
who that lucky winner finally will be.
Coordinate N45
Clue Two, June 22
Through parks, streets and paths you will go,
be sure to check both high and low.
Good luck hunting and follow this clue
at this point what else can you do.
Follow the path towards the sun,
where each and every day has begun.
Coordinate W93
Clue Three, June 23
You may gain some thirst if you have come this far,
and may be quenched by a reservoir.
Throuch the woodsy and endless run,
the medallion will be close to the end of one.
Wtih all the parks to pick and choose
the treasure is near one where the dogs run loose.
good luck
If KC is like me...I've been doing it for almost every hunt just to see if it was possible...
oops...yep major major major mistake.
all you need to do is change the name of the title...
Congrats KC!
for those of us with no GPS, and who are afraid of even stepping foot onto Roseville land.... where was it?
