I thought it would be nice to have a spot for us to share our memories of Dave, just like we did with Kirk, and we can get them passed along to his family.
We will be north by this evening - otherwise we would.
This from Margie today....
Good Morning Terry,
THank you THankyou Thankyou!! for the email and the pics! My heart was So Torn that night and I So wanted to come... but as I was there for the funeral and turned dad loose to tackle the situation the first time I thought I better stick to the matter at hand... Lord knows how the week was going to turn out.
So today its friday and we are going to go home after lunch..Dads hemoglobin number is up to 11 and thats perfect for this and we can wait till dr'ing till wednesday next week and they will see what his number is. I am so fortunate to have new freinds and blessed to be wanted  when you were looking for me to come. I would hope there will times in the future that I get to come or will be invited to come and see the gang. I will keep you posted on how things are.. and I hope everyone is well... I haven't heard from another soul but you  and thats fine too.. I know how busy everyone gets
Clue that sounds like fun I mite be out with the ex tonight I have to see if she wants to hang out with me after I tell her what I got to tell her!!! lol after last night Grew a pair that are biger then you could every Imagen lol!!! seeing the other one that mest with my head!! set me off!! HEEHEH I am in the best mood I have been in in a few months!!!!!
I know last night just set me off!!! I dont know if you read it in the what irrates you but ya!!!
I feel really good for some reason and she called me and said do you want to go out tonight and I said we could grab dinner and I can talk to you!!! then and get my stuff out and she said ah ok!! good talk or bad talk??? I said depends on how you look at it!!! hehee
I dont think she will want anything to do with me after the talk!!
Sheesh, Who knows? That place seems to be pretty unorganized if you ask me. The message on the comedy line is two weeks old and no one at all answers the hotel phone. The web site doesn't even say times or cost. Huh
I did leave a message so when they get back to me on Tuesday I'll let you know. :eyeroll:
Man does bad customer service get my goat. There are so many ways to make things better for your customers and people don't seem to realize that. Maybe it's because I'm in that line of work and can see it first hand. Kinda like a waitress either tipping real big or not at all when going out to eat at a different restaurant.
hehehe before penny and mike were gonna go I just pictured you and timmers (in his fairy costume of course  ) - d'oh
I chose not to attend, I love you guys but there were some personal things I had to do - I don't even need to say "hope it was fun"...I know it was fun and you all had a great time! can't wait to see the pics ---- I told Mikey that another Friday night we would have to go
I got to talk with another real Santa at the Roger Waters show last night at X. I seen him as we came in the door and ran up to him just after I told my clan that I wouldn't leave them.
(which I have a tendency to do at concerts)
I was all giddy with happiness. How often do you get to see Santa enjoying a nice concert during the summer?
I told him about Dave and he knew him and offered his sympathy for our dear friend.
Thanks V but I'm not really a fan of cheap buzz cuts. I only had the girl do it because I was there with Ali and didn't want to drive all the way across the street to my place. I have had a number of compliments on it though. Plus it is easy to take care of and comfortable. Thanks for noticing.
Hey Tim - Did you watch the Jeff Gerbino DVD? Check out the Bonus material. Pretty interesting with the 2000 Flushes commercial, old 'CCO news and Minnesota Bound stories. Totally takes me back to 1999.
That works perfect! I'll call him when I get back from Mexico and get settled in, before harvest starts - so I can get working on it.
Then I'll call him. I'd like to see it in late fall - so we can really push the "santa" part of it (people will be in the holiday spirit - so it should fit well)
it is also a great time for me, cause my cult girls are used to me not being around helping them, due to harvest - so I will have more time to focus on this, rather than on stuff they drop on my plate.
you'd think this woulda been done a LONG time ago. (unfortunately, I do everything late! :frown: ) I sent Majors a card last week - just wanted everyone to know I thanked them from all of us.
I was at the fair this year, and I like one particular food that I didn't get a chance to get this year (The honey and sunflower ice cream in the Agriculture building.)
Mrs. Bear was really tired and wanted to go home, but wanted me to get my ice cream. I thought of Dave, I smiled, and realized that I had genuinely learned my response, which was "There's always Next Year."
Hi, I believe that these are all the e-mail addresses I have, however, I know that some of you Friends, like Stanley Kasal, I do not have one for. I have copied CD's off the recovered pictures on my camera chip. Thanks to a skilled grandson. So, I want to send these copies to you guys. I have the mailing envelopes, etc.,so what I need is a list of mailing addresses. I may have some of them someplace, but my filing system resembles David's way too closely. Send addresses, and I will send copies of what I have. I have cut about four or five discs, so you can share, please.
As soon as I have an address, I will send them. Some are good, some are not. You can delete and save, as you wish.
Love to all of you who came to be there for David.
I have enclosed 2 CD's in each of your envelopes. This way you have an extra to share without having to copy yours. I did not enclose any note in the envelopes.
However, there are four photos of my sister, (who could not be there) with her cat----following those four, there are the ones I took at the closed, decorated gravesite the next day. At the very end are some of family members, taken on our trip back to FL. Those should have been deleted, but, I was so grateful to have other grandchildren assisting me in the copying process, that I really didn't say anything. I am so thankful for the kids assistance. I figured you guys could overlook the extra photos.
Love & hugs for your part in the "Celebration on David's Life"
I will miss him so much, around the Holidays, It won't be Thanksgiving, or Christmas for my family in MN, without him. I'll bet you folks who always saw him at the Fair, are telling yourselves again, "he lives on in our hearts, but we sure miss seein' him. I had a hard time deleting his name off my e-mail, and cell phone. It just doesn't seem right, somehow.

Now - Not so much
so, did Jeff say anything to any of ya'll who went to the roast, about the fundraiser to do Dave's bench in the park?
I've been meaning to post this - I took it in the french Quarter - it's a xmas store.
Then I'll call him. I'd like to see it in late fall - so we can really push the "santa" part of it (people will be in the holiday spirit - so it should fit well)

My mom's fair group were all talking about him not being there this year. Sad :frown:
oh...redbear..did you see that website that i posted a while back??
