my tenth will be in 09... I'll be lookin forward to that, when it comes...

at our 5 year, it was nothing but "damn, when did you become cool?".... I brought the party TO the party that night....

it'll be even better next time around, because I'll have had time to plan stuff.

My 40th will be in 2011. Yikes! When did all that time go by???

I didn't go to the five year because my oldest baby was born a few days before the reunion.

I didn't go to the ten year because we'd already planned our summer vacation by the time the reunion info went out.

The 15th was cancelled for lack of interest, I guess.

The 20th was great. Still young enough to look pretty good. Old enough to not give two shits about what anyone thinks, anyway. Got in on some fun stories from our history teacher - stuff he never dared tell back when we were in school.

The 30th was the best ever. Da Yooper and I were newlyweds and we had so much fun that weekend. I was on the planning committee and it was fun to work hard and see it all come together.

My 40th would be in 2010. We had a ten year reunion. It was okay, but the people I really wanted to see didn't show and some that I would have been happy not to see were there. There hasn't been a hint of another reunion since and that's okay as I would likely not go again.

Iceman - what high school? My daughter is coming in for her 10 year reunion this weekend.

I loved my 40th reunion! It was the best one yet. Everyone is pretty much settled down and not as much preening and bluster going on.

My 50th will be in 2011. I can hardly wait.

On a similar note, went with the family to Old World Pizza in IGH on Saturday night. There were three of us from the class of '61 eating there at the same time.

When I see a big tatoo like that the letters I see are d-U-M-b but the losing weight is awesome!

I like the tat. But then I've got tramp stamps of my own... I'm not sure about the placement - that area doesn't have a lot of fat usually so ouch!

That is awesome about the weight loss! I hit 25 pound loss, and it seems like my life caught back up with me, and I've been sorta naughty. This week I'm getting back to it tho.

here are two more photos from this weekend.

Have any of you ever played the slap game? I'm sure... well try it while balancing a plastic cup on your head. Also try it after drinking nasty "pecans" all night - it makes for a much more challenging game.

the second photo - I'm not really sure I can explain except to say - we are sooo loaded.

j.j. ----- dynomite!

no...seriously...

I found this...

My horse has a brand that looks like a curvy J with and M and a backwards J on her left hip. I bought my mare from a feedlot in Wahoo, Nebraska. After years of investigations we found out she was from an Jicarilla Indian reservation in New Mexico. I was told it stands for Jicarilla Mule that is Unsound.

I like that addition. You can use it for bloody knuckles too

we asked the bartender for TWO DICE CUPS and she came back with TWO PLASTIC CUPS. (she wasn't the brighest bulb) so we went with it, and made our own game.

I love the slap game - especially when drunk.

there is a dog park down in Apple Valley, called Alimagnet Dog Park - http://www.alimagnetdogpark.org

my sister takes her two taco bell dogs there all the time, because they dont live that far from the place....

this past weekend, they hosted "Dog Days Of Summer"....with a buncha tents, for local pet busineses - kennels, grooming, food, doggy day care, etc.... and the Teddy Bear Band performed there too....

we brought Bucky down there, so he could have some fun, and meet other dogs (which he loves to do)

they had an "event" called "Bobbing for hot dogs"...

basically, all it was, was they had a wading pool filled up, and then they cut up hot dogs into chunks, and had them floating in the pool...

you paid 50 cents, for a charity, and your dog got 30 seconds to get as many hotdogs as possible...

the two dogs ahead of Bucky didnt do anything, but sit in the water....

Bucky jumped in, and got all of the pieces within like 15 seconds...

heres a pic my sister took, right when he started...

btw.... I highly reccomend - if you gotta dog, to try out this park... the large dog area kicks ass... theres a lake, and a 2.5 - 3 mile walking path area.... really nice

theres also a small dog area, for smaller, or older dogs, which is like the size of a large backyard...

Opps, wrong park. I went to a geocaching event at that park once.

Its really nice...

I especially like the dog washing shower station, near the parking lot, for after your done in the park...

Bucky wanted to roll in the mud/dirt a whole bunch, after playing in the lake, with the other dogs...

but yeah... theres a people park there too, w/ baseball fields, and stuff...

My family was on our way to Eagan for a school play, heading South on 35W past Home Depot and toward the dome...and were just a few hundred cars away from being in a very bad place at a very bad time...thank God we had to delay and wait for my oldest son to go to the bathroom...phew. How close we are to bad things happening everyday, I wonder? :worried:
