Nice caption too.
My sister and I have each had dreams, since we were kids, about driving on the Mississippi river bottoms. Her dreams are a little different than mine, and we'd never talked about it until after this bridge collapsed.
Mine begin when I drive down the boat launch at Harriet Island. Then I drive around in about two inches of water around the NSP plant. The bottom is sandy, not mucky or squishy at all, really not much current to speak of (well except there's LOTS of current at NSP - pun intended).
I don't know the point of this dream, nor of my even telling it, but I was amazed to hear my sister has dreams about driving in the river and there being no feeling of any hazard about it.
Just wondered if this is a common phenomenon.
Anybuddy else?
I'm guessing my sister (she's 15 years older, so there's probably a lot I don't know about her childhood) didn't get to do much - if any - boating either.
So, the meaning of the dreams remains a mystery.
Yuppers Thanks
Because the dreams recur, although years may pass between them, there is likely something unresolved or something that is trying to come from the subconscious into the conscious mind, but I have yet to figure out what!

I don't have that prog anymore. KC might be doing it. I assume someone is somewhere.
Unless there's a webcam setup seperately?
I found a different one...
Stone Arch Bridge
Minneapolis East River Road & SE 6th Avenue (near Stone Arch Apartments)
SE 2nd Street & SE 9th Avenue (Near Children's World Learning Center)
Also, consider driving over University Avenue to see the span of the 35W Bridge.
I talked with him just after it happened-
I'll give him a call and see if he's onto that.
huh
This is the best up close area where you can see. I'm not sure if the cars are there still but it's still pretty close.

I think I missed an episode but I did want to see what Danielle was up to in her strategy at the end of the last show I caught.
Danielle just seemed smarter than I expected from her.

I especially like the reflective rocks, the painted sky and the ariel lift
I can almost hear the ship and the bridge signaling each other.

CM - That is my wallpaper at work.
Terry - I agree the North Shore is the most peaceful, relaxing place on earth.
Usually a picture cannot capture the true beauty of the place. I'm including the next couple of photos because when I look at them I can actually get the feeling back that I had while in that spot.
