the only white van I recall any cooler crew having was KT. She had cool artwork painted on it. She had it at the 2006 Battle Creek Re-Hash bash. don't know if its the same though.
so the guy was promoting a group he knew nothing about? did he know what Cooler Crew is?

After working at this job for the past 1 1/2 years and eating lunch with the same co-worker daily...today we were talking about all the down bursts of rain we've been getting, which brought memories of a flood back in the late 70's where she remembers swimming in the streets... I said yeah me too - so I asked where she was from.. she said Richfield!
Wow I lived in Richfield (thinking she was a couple of years younger than me) to find she graduate a year after me! We both attended the same middle school (there were 2) and that her husband (also from Richfield) hung around with the guys that I hung around with..
Brought a smile to my face for the rest of the day - remembering fond memories - got home and dug out the old year books and began looking at the pictures...I remember her!!
With all the talk of the holloween blizzard.... My old girlfriend had a baby 9 months after the holloween snowstorm and was featured on the news 9 months after the storm.
There was a really fast storm that came through SSP/IGH about ten years ago that flooded the streets so badly it was almost impossible to get from SSP to IGH.
My best friend's daughter was getting married that evening at St. Patrick's in IGH. I tried Concord and it was flooded, tried 7th/Cahill and it was flooded. Even tried Robert to 60th but the valley by the park was flooded. I finally got through on 80th and there were about 10 people at the church.
Then the skies cleared and the sun came out in time for the reception at the country club on Grey Cloud.
I went to the Vikes game the weekend of the Halloween blizzard. There had to be no more than one or two thousand people tops. It felt like a Twins game.
Went to a movie and drinks after with Becksie and M2...
During conversation M2 asked if I had a sister because she remembers a redhead named Theresa Clausen that she went to school with... I don't have a younger sister.... but a very good friend of 15 years named Theresa Klassen..... Yep same person!!
So up at the Farm, where I go every New Years...standing out at the bonfire...buzzed...a friend I have known for 13 years (who also sojourns to the Farm every New Years) is telling me that he has a friend who is an avid Med Hunter and his name is Chris. I yell, 1/2 jokingly, Chris Digger?!?!? Bottom line...we call Chris shortly after midnight and figure out that, yes, it is indeed Chris Digger. Turns out my friend was the Best Man in Chris' wedding! The next day, I had a vague recollection that we had had this same conversation a year or two ago...buzzed...at the bonfire...and I think we called Chris that year, too!
Went to a Scout meeting tonight (my adult leaders). At the end of the meeting I reminded everyone that I would be "out of commission" until the next meeting due to the hunt... when one of my leaders started asking me all kinds of questions... turns out he is a geocacher.. started throwin out names like King Boreas, Kitch, Posen, Mucluck..
Tango Delta Delta is my neighbor and one of my Scout leaders! He says Hey!!
I found out yesterday that my sister-in-law's best friend is RV Bill's daughter. I've known her for years and never made the connection. She seen my post on his Legacy page and connected the dots.
thats cool mucluck

I thought it was 6 degrees of cooler related...but hmmm....maybe she's a medallion hunter...is she...is she...gotta ask
umm...o.k.
my sarah turns 16 on Sunday.
her baby shower was Nov 3rd, 1991.
a good 10 people made it
but many couldn't get their cars shoveled out
I worked my butt off shoveling my car out - little Datsun I think I had at the time. Amazing that I made it.

Often in the summer will invite all the kids over and "hook up" for an afternoon.
They are both in the No Time For Cold Feet movie.
