I am liking the big parks cause of the ole millennium thing that people think happened this year, they wanna make it a large scale event in a large park
Terry, I have wondered that myself. The two best reasons I can think of are these: 1. These must be tough for puzzle writer to write. Given that the puzzle writer duty may overlap years, ie same puzzle writer for multiple consecutive years, it would be tough to come up with ambiguous clues for the same park two years in a row. 2. PP would like to avoid putting stress on neighborhoods two years in a row. In a small park like Newell, that is mostly in a residential area, the pressure of being "the" spot two years in a row might result in bad feelings toward PP, which is first and formemost, a business.

you can see the stadium from newell, but oof hand all i remember seeing for towers is kstp's broadcast tower, i dont remember any others except for the fire tower, next to the stadium, if that counts i dunno
TJH Kellogg Park is a narrow strip of grass and trees on the south side of Kellogg Blvd between the Wabasha and Robert Street bridges. All of the trees have lights, as well as a giant, lighted salvation army kettle. there is a fountain, and paths made of pavers. Overlooks river, shepard road, harriet island, and two sets of train tracks....
Downtown Dave, i agree with ya about your second idea (repeat digging at newell) but they cant control where our twisted munds lead us! Some people dig at Phalen every year regardless... same goes for other larger parks...

The State Fair grounds are offically in Falcon Heights, aren't they? That would rule them out. Also, the golf clue in the 1st clue is always there each year to keep people from destroying the golf courses. The year the medallion was at Highland recently had the golf clue, even though Highland has a golf course. So, the park could have a golf course, but stay off of it if it does!!!

the way I look at that is the opposite of extract: meaning to dig up woould be to bbury it.
