north of university there isn't much of a street-defined border. i added on to kc's medallion map incorporating the border of st. paul on the cooler crew site.so if you zoom in you get a really close approximation.
Bummer KC - how's the job search plan coming along?
Sorry I won't get to see so many folks this time, but I hope to be back in MN a few more times over the winter, including the medallion hunt. I probably can't make the move back now until spring, and now that the real estate market is starting to tank where I live, who knows what next year will bring.
But, as sad as I am to be without my doggie, I am able to come and go more freely now, so hope to get in on as many cooler events as possible.
I'll check in here one more time around 5PM for any additional headcount and then will be heading out to pick up Vicky from work. She and I are going to make a stop or two and get out to the restaurant a little early to get a table for us all.
It's going. I can focus on it more after I get rid of some responsibilities looming over my head (non work related, but they're nonetheless a pain).
Well hopefully I'll see ya during the hunt sometime then. At least I'll have a car for this year's hunt, and an honorable plan to use the prize money on, the PP would probably eat it up in a press release. So, maybe I'll even find the darned thing.
Count me in as a maybe too. I love chinese! I haven't seen any of you for a long time. Hopefully I can finish my grad school homework and meet some of you there.
On a totally unrelated note, if any of you are getting rid of or know someone getting rid of Department 56 Dicken's Village pieces, I would love to talk to them.
Great seeing those that could make it. We certainly missed those that couldn't be there, but it was difficult to get to say howdy to everyone as it was.
And they had coconut shrimp there this evening! That is my personal favorite and they don't always have it. Yummmmy!
I am pretty sure that Ares was one of the seven people that I didn't tickle in the parking lot, but I guess I did have a lot of Mongolian Beef so I was a little out of it. What a blast to hang out with you guys last night. I hope that I can see you guys again sooner than later.
It was fun last night. And after eating more than a fair share of coconut shrimp, and thinking that would do me for a good long while, I found myself wishing I had more today. That is some yummy stuff!
Ice - thanks for the Worthington paper. It's truly appreciated.
Eags - tell Vicky it was good to see her again. I feel like I didn't get a good chance to really spend much time with folks.
well....if you guys want an excuse to get together, we are having a benefit for my uncle, he had lung cancer and had a large tumor removed. gordy's band will be playing and we are also doing kareoke  it's in forest lake so not too bad of a drive, November 24th. I'll have to post later where because I can't remember if it's the legion or the VFW.
I set my myspace page to Espanol, and I can't find the control button to set it back to English (if there is really one - when I clicked the espanol button, it asked me like 3 times if I really wanted to do that - in spanish - and I said, yes, yes, yes,)
So I'm getting immersion spanish via my favorite online time toilet. But its pretty funny, cause a lot of things aren't the same, so it's like a whole new little world to me.
basically a person could post a small note on the website...or they can set it up to have messages (other friends in same group) sent to their cell phone and they can post to the site from their cell phone.
So lets say I'm in a group of hunters I'm "watching" I would get text messages from them as the hunt is going on if the "post" updates.
you can also turn "off" the text messaging at any time...
disadvantage...I don't have unlimited text messaging
ya Well once I get my cell back up and running it will be nice for the hunt!! but I will look in to it! my cell costs flipping 1.50 a text I hate Nextel!!!
Sprint/Nextel are being sued by the State of Minnesota by the Attorney General's office. Funny as that is the vendor the state chose for cell phones used by state employees in the Twin Cities area.
We have to use Sprint/Nextel for our office, and dealing with the screwed up billings is beyond belief. There was one month they overcharged us about $1500. In the year we have had an account with them, only two billings were correct. The rest were varying amounts of over charging.
I wouldn't use Sprint/Nextel for cell phone service after our work experience with them. I have spent many hours combing through our billings to be sure we are paying correctly.
I would like to know EXACT border streets...
I'm really interested where the cut off line is by 280.
Cooler Crew Get-Together
Tuesday, November 6 - TONIGHT!!!!

I have a headcount of 17 (plus two maybes) as of 3:45 PM today, including all those who have posted to this thread and/or PM-ed or e-mailed me.
If you post that you are going to be there, I will get there early and see if we can get a couple of big tables.
sorry I won't make it...
Plans, as usual. I have way too much of a life these days.

See y'all there at 7PM.
I'm sure there's room for a few add-ons, so don't be shy...

Thanks, everyone, for making it out there tonight.

Everyone else - nice to see you again, wish that I'd have had more time
oops...I should have had him give the $ to somebody a bit closer to me...like me2.
Ice - thanks for the Worthington paper. It's truly appreciated.

We should do this more often.

My understanding how it works

thoughts?
I think I'd go broke...it would cost me 10cents to post...and 5 cents to receive a post..."since I'm on a pre-paid cell phone"
would be cheaper than 10cents a min. to make a phone call...heh.
