I think they look a bit better in iceman's picture :frown:
So for those of you that don't know this is what happened...Since Oct. 24th I had been having severe lower abdominal pain, I was put on Vicadin then persoset, had CT and ultrasound done, I have three ovarian cysts, but they suspect there is something else contributing to the pain. I was scheduled for a laprascopy on Friday morning to hopefully find that cause. Ten minutes after they administered the anathesia, before they began the surgery, my heart began an irregular beat, which became very fast into ventricular fibrilation, I had no pulse, but my heart never stopped, just not pumping blood. They performed CPR and shocked me once, my heart returned to normal rhythm. I was transfered to ICU where they kept me for 24 of observation. They never performed they surgery. I have to do some follow up with heart specialists, an Electrophysiologist, to see if they cane determine what caused this to happen. Basically something in my heart or the anathesia set off strange elctro impulses in my heart.....
So I have two burns on my chest from the paddles, a sore breast bone from the CPR, still the same abdominal pain and medical bills I will be paying for the rest of my life....
I am sorry I am happy as hell you are still here!!! I would miss you!!! So you need to get better I cant have anymore of this sick friends and family this year!!! I am going to have a break down before the hunt next year!!! if this stuff keeps up Keep me posted on whats going on!!!!

DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!!!
man..I hope you get better...soon.
The alternative to a sore breast bone and burns from the paddles is too scary to even think about. Glad you're okay.
Hope they get to the bottom of the pain too.
I hope they figure things out quickly for you and get you out of pain.
I thought you were in for your foot.
I seldom come into this area of the board, but when I saw all the posts I figured something was up.

I've been thinking about you this weekend and hoping you are doing alright
2008 Mukluk Ball
One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered:
"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."
Isn't perspective a wonderful thing?
...at times I miss my little house I lived at in the middle of nowhere...
at times I'm glad I don't....
I can make a mean chicken noodle soup...
its kinda easy now they have the popcan tops on the cans....
:frown:
ANYTHING TO JUST FEEL BETTER
