A mouse in the house. Came home to find evidence that my house was not as empty as I thought while I was away. Got a live trap set. I keep thinking I hear it go off, but when my contractor was here and checked it, its empty. Damn thing took up residence on all the newly laundered, dried and folded dog bedding, towels, blankets comforters that were stored on the spare bed. Looks like a big mess to clean up once the mouse/mice are caught.

Man I'd hate for that to happen in my building. We actually just freed a couple that was stuck on 25th floor for the last 30 minutes. :coolfrown:

Okay, here's a scenario for you, let me know how crazy this sounds.

We have extra inventory of some paper my boss wants to get rid of. It's sort of a ream of this and a ream of that situation. A customer calls, orders a paper we had flagged for this. Since my boss is trying to cut costs, he's storing the paper at his place. He won't be in until Friday, so I call to ask the customer if they're okay waiting for their paper until then so we can deliver it personally.

The customer asks if there's another color paper we can get to them sooner. So I get my boss to agree to UPS it so the customer can have the paper tomorrow, since they're already being inconvenienced. So, they're fine with tomorrow for a delivery.

Now, here's the curveball. My boss asks me to call the customer and see if they'd want an extra ream (since he has 2 to get rid of) for 2 bucks off. So here's how it looks to the customer. First, we're having a supply problem and can't get the paper to them fast enough. Then, we have an overabundance of the paper and want to know if they'd like extra, all within a 15 minute space of time.

Does that sound fishy? If I were the customer, I'd think so...

Not yet. Don't wanna bug 'em. I'll wait till next week. Hopefully I'll hear something before thanksgiving. I screwed up and forgot to ask what to expect as far as how long to wait. The 1st interview they said 2 weeks. So I'll give 'em that.

I ate a little bit of celery root salad today, and 3 pieces of brown rice sushi, and that's all I can seem to force myself to get down.

I did drink 20oz of grapefruit juice tho. hopefully that will kill something of this cold. :angry:

ice, it looks like youre looking at this all wrong dude... it doesn't matter where you are with her if you are in to her. you don't get to go to the game together? yeah, its a bummer, but call her and make other plans - watching the game together at your place on the couch together or sit in a booth at a non crowded bar and watch the game - personally, I find booths intimate. Its not always about the game as it is about eachother. --- now if it were me it'd be about both the man and the game- where as with you, you don't like football, so improvise...if you are really in to her and it's driving you crazy that you want to be around her? ...pick up the phone and call her right now - good luck.

see she has to move in 2 weeks and has a ton of packing to do so I am going to leave her do that and I really dont think it is going to work at all!! she drinks Way TO MUCH!!!!! and I am not going to deal with it because if my dad I rember how he is!! also she has way to much Drama in her life!! and I am starting to see it all unfold and don't want it with the year I have been having!!!
