The twins never even made him an offer, that's what really bothers me about all of this. Maybe this means they have a chance of keeping Santana, I'm not holding my breath though.
Normally I don't pay much attention to campaign ads, but this has got to be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. It definitely shows who his base is though.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We certainly did.
I thought it might be a bit of a downer this year as neither of our kids were home this year. We did miss them, but had a great dinner and good company. Both the kids did call so that was nice. They both will be here for Christmas - and that was one more thing to be grateful for today.
It's so nice to have a day dedicated to counting our blessings. It's something we should do more often.
Drive down Nicollet Mall and enjoy the holiday lights Thanksgiving night!
The once-a-year tradition of enjoying a drive down Nicollet Mall to enjoy the holiday lights is upon us. Folks will be able to drive their cars on Nicollet Mall from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007. ItÂ’s a great way to see the holiday decorations and celebrate the beginning of the holiday season.
Nicollet Mall is normally reserved for buses, taxis, and emergency vehicles, but City ordinance allows cars to drive down the Mall one evening a year.
For this special occasion, the speed limit is 10 miles-per-hour and drivers are not allowed to pass another vehicle or stop anywhere along the Mall. If you want to take the drive, you must enter and exit Nicollet Mall either at Washington Avenue or Grant Street.
its been a long whispy day of hanging out watching movies & eating leftovers - my butt hurts now.
I bet they do that drive down Nicollet Mall on Thanksgiving because so many people are gone and most stores are closed. I would love to do that, maybe make it a tradition. Have to get down to Macys 8th floor this year.
I agree Terry, its nice to think of the good things in our lives.
anyone go fight the crowds thismorning? 4 AM! why not just open at 12:01 AM, why bother even going to sleep? - shop all night.

Gordy actyally got up at 5:00 am to go to menards for a couple gifts for the kids, he said NEVER AGAIN! he stood in line for an hour just to get checked out!
my girls only want 1 thing each - technically I can purchase both online. a Sandisk 8g mp3 player thing and a pink electric guitar with amp. I have NO IDEA what else to get them. I didn't go shopping at all.
interesting - kinda feel like the green "paid member" is a waste of space because we are all paid in this Cooler. It looks cool in green and all but not necessary for our group-
I do however like: The Cooler Crew hopes me2 enjoys a great holiday season!
WOW!!! can someone be that dumb just build the fence and pump dollars in to that so we dont have to woirre about it any more!!! Someone get it over with witch jack azz are we going to get stuck with this time around!!! I am not going to get in to this!!arggg
I have real mixed feelings about this issue. On one hand, we definitely don't want to reward them for breaking the law, on the other hand we have the public safety issue of people driving without licenses. The question that needs to be answered is: Would giving illegals the opportunity to get driver's licenses decrease the likelihood of them driving without a license? I don't have any data to answer this but I'm guessing it would not. So I guess I would oppose giving them licenses.

The question that needs to be answered IMO is: Would stopping them at the border and not letting them work here decrease the likelihood of them driving without a license? I dont have any data to answer this but I'm guessing it would. So I guess I would oppose giving them JOBS, ILLEGAL ENTRY, and licenses. Stronger borders and hefty fines for employers who hire them is a good place to start.
(sorry I know this is the wrong thread, so I wont comment further here)
Hey all.. just stopping in for a minute to leave a quick msg. Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day! Ours was great. Kaitlynn loved EVERY minute of it. She got a little bit of everything so her taste buds REALLY got a work out lol. We're looking forward to her first Christmas. If I don't make it back on before Xmas, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Peace and God Bless, and hopefully.. I'll get a chance to come out and do some diggin!
When I decided in 1994 to run for president in 2008, the reasons for choosing the year were twofold: it was the first year I was eligible to run (I will be 36 in November 2008), and I believed I would be ready to run by then. (By “ready to run”, I mean “in a position to provide the voters with the candidate they need to help them liberate themselves from the current political situation in America”.)

However, Cat and I did go to Joann Fabrics at 6AM this morning. That was a first for me, but an interesting time.
But she did get all of our Christmass shopping done.

Went to Kohl's, JC Penneys, Dick's, and Sears and was home by 6:30 a.m.
Then we went out today too. I didn't want to deal with the crowds yesterday all alone. Not as enjoyable by myself as it was last year with mrs.zephy.
