hi.... things took longer than expected but so far everything is alright. She hasn't had as much pain, I expected more. Its all bandaged up and we're not able to see it til her dr's appt on Monday. It was pretty scarey for us adults. The nurses loved her and she got plenty of hot chocolate in the recoveryroom. She ate more yesterday than probably ever in one day. I brought her matress down to the livingroom. She slept most of the night. Now for a long month ahead. thanks so much for all your calls and e-mails and pm's.

took Whitney to the dr this morning. She got her stitches out - she didn't like that. Dr says it looks good - he wrapped her foot back up and said she could begin putting pressure on it next Friday. On the way home I took her to Mickey D's - in the drive thru she said her tummy wasnt feeling well, I grabbed the blanket for her but not soon enough and BLLLLLLLLLEAH she threw up :frown: she felt better after that (lol) ...
she has had some nice visitors and gone to the movies twice.

weirdly enough I got birthday wishes e-mails from Coon Rapids and North St Paul because I participated in their hunts. Musta bought buttons and had to fill out the info on a card or something.

yesterday afternoon was a hard day for my sweetpea
her incision itches and she can't get to it- like having a cast
the darvaset helps some but it hurts
she looks awefully uncomfortable
Ive been sleeping next to her and on the floor for the last couple of days.

not like anyone wants to read all of this but its kinda a good place for me to write this to have it all somewhere with quick access.
took her to the dr this morning
they took the bandages off and for a split second I took a picture and got a glance--- ick & owie.
they said it looks good and put new bandages on it.
took an xray- saw the chip is removed and her bone filed down.
Instead of putting her in a cast they put a velcro boot that goes to the knee. She still has to stay off it & it really hurt today.
