What irritates you?

Yea it looks like I won't get paid until after Christmas. That sucks! :angry: Great timing :barf:

Shes taking it pretty well actually. She had a lumpectomy last week and is waiting on more tests. Depending on the tests she may start radiation or may have to have a massectomy.

Sorry to hear about your sister, mrmikey. Cancer is such a scary word, but certainly less scary than it once was. I have two sisters who had breast cancer.

really makes me wonder how cancer has missed my immediate family...

I didn't realize how big it really was until about 4 or 5 yrs ago...

It sounds like what they removed may have been precancerous. We don't have breast cancer in our family but do have other cancer history. We're just hoping the tests come back with good results.

Mikey - So sorry to hear about your sister. Breast cancer is very curable if found early. My Mom is a 28 year survivor.

Sucks about your checks. The timing is unbelievable.

The police department doesn't care. It's all about the money. Who cares if it's legal or not, as long as they get paid? I have an uncle with a tow truck, that gets paid per car he tows...which means some of them may, and will, take your vehicle illegally, to make more money.

I left work a bit ago to see the holiday train at the Union Depot only to get there too late and it had left... I saw the lights by Mounds Park so I drove over there. It was just stationed under the bluff (musta been waiting for clearance before heading up Phalen creek to Minneapolis). I tried to take some photos but my battery died!! :frown: if my one pic came out than I'll post it later.

The train was pretty cool. I won't miss it next year.

the funny thing is, we all did. my grandpa bought it for us when we were really young. although definitely not enough to make it worth it to leave the door open in the winter because I thought it was too warm inside :sheepish:

Usually I'm a thoughtful sort of guy (yeah, imagine that) and enjoy buying things for people that I know they would enjoy. It doesn't even phase me if I get nothing in return, that's not the point to me anyway. But, this year some of my friends decided to do a "gift exchange" which got way too confusing. And the people controlling it didn't bother to keep me in the loop from the start, so now I'm out of it.

Blah.. why do people have to be so stinking difficult? I guess I have less people to buy for anyway... Too bad I don't really look at that as a consolation...

Yeah. Though the way insurance is, I'll probably just count my blessings I don't have to report it. The damage is way under my deductible.

Sucks nonetheless. I always worry about people rear ending me, because there's a lot of idiots out there. Especially in the winter, I've always encountered more random acts of stupidity in the winter months on the roads.

If she has insurance it goes against hers and shouldn't count against yours.
