VIKING DEPRESSION IS THE SITE WHERE RED McCOMBES WANTED TO BUILD A STADIUM FOR THE LOSER VIKES(GO PACKERS!) THAT EXPLAINS THE MOUND AREA

Newell is close to the fair. Not next door by any means, but you can see the space needle or whatever its really called. I knew it was at Newell after clue 4. Then I talked myself out of it saying it was too easy. But now I find it obvious that its there and now sure how other people don't.

Golden Boy I dig it. The turning machine could also be the light tower that is at mounds, it rotates.

Hi all, took half an hour to get on this site

Marc, what "turning machine" at the tower at Mounds? It's just a tower, there's no turning wheel that I remember.

It sounded like they were describing a picnic shelter. Only they said places plural which impied more than one. Only three parks that I saw had more than one, Como, Cherokee, and Newell, at least where you could see more than one at a time. It was in Como and Cherokee too recently to be there so that left Newell. Later I discovered Phalen had some multiple ones so I thought Phalen for half a day until clue 5 sent me back to Newell or a facsimile thereof (Iris).

Pleasant scene is fair view, turning machine is wheeler, the two streets that Newell lies between

A turning machine could also be a clock- the hands turn. Theres a clock overlooking rice park, and the sculptures make a pleasent scene. Not that i think its there, but you can still make the clues fit in several parks.

We had Wheeler St. References way back in clue 2, assuming it is in Newell, so why spend a whole clue on the same street?

This whole thing seems too easy, but what else could it be? All the clues could fit several parks individually, but making them all fit is the hard part.

thought rice park to after tonights clue, but i thought turning machine as to the ice sculptures and whatever they use to get them car ved out. but I am agreeing that newell it probably is, tomorrow night may throw us a completely different direction, it seems they would stretch it out a while longer for the amount of money
