I agree with you Tom - We were all at Newell last year - And I'm going again this morning - everything does seem to fit at Newell - Tonights clue will pin down for sure.
I will look at Newell today gotta check out linwood also phalen still possible, never assume you know the clues cause we always miss interpret one or two.

I don't believe it's there at Newell. There are some many other parks that could fit the clues. A simple Truth. Take off the T and it's Ruth, right by the Magnet School and the Tennis Courts. It could be Battle Creek?
Today's clue was a tease, tonight's clue is going to secure Newell, which has been dugged out, unless the medallion isn't there, or it's going to secure another park, where people have been, but haven't look so well!
I scouted out parks last night, so save your time and look at newell! there isn't a doubt in my simple thinking mind! Then again, I didn't spent hours at newell last year only to have it be at conway. that may help me though!!!
You have to look how long to took at Conway - That place looked like a war zone last year - With no less than 500 people diggin. I went by Newell last night and thought it was barely touched. I'm sure with last nights clue it now is pretty dug up - I'm still gonna check it out.
It's a possiblity. There's a place where you can see radio towers, grills, a pavallion, the statue, and a half-circle court. Plus Phalen runs by Wheelock Parkway.
More than half the fun is sloggin and reading everyones ideas. Since I've found (Q found) the cooler it has be a lot more interesting and fun for me. You all are such great thinkers...!

Yes, the fairgrounds are fair game, as I understand it.
I remember as a kid they found the medallion in the middle of the midway somewhere.
Hasn't been there in awhile. The guys who run the fairgrounds get really upset with everyone digging around the pronto pup booths.
