Finding a Logitech Harmony 520 universal remote at target as an open box/return. It was marked down 30 bucks because the CD was missing (which you can download the software off the net anyway).
Finding out next monday is a holiday at school! Another day to hunt!! And having my homework I got today already done from another class I already took before.
Also having White Castles today. (Dont tell Penny, I dont think they're on the approved list of my diet)
Just had coffee with a guy I got a job for about 20 months ago. He works as an image consultant now, has the world on a string. He told me that me believing in him and helping him at the low point in his life changed it for the good and he'll never forget what I did for him.
I think that's the nicest thing anybody's ever said to me. :litesmile:

also enjoy - my new spanish class - we don't need the expensive $75 book - it's done with this thing called TPRS storytelling - which makes you have to use your own words, not just spit back stuff from a text book.
everything from footloose, saturday night fever to playing carrots and brocoli like instruments ...then there was "shoes" - 11 million hits and its horrible! she likes it.... I watched it? it got nixed from her favorites! swearing! :frown: - I can never get that 4 minutes of my life back. - I won't even give you a link to waste your time. :eyeroll:

I really enjoyed watching my autographed (by Jake) copy of no time for cold feet tonight! It was great!
I also enjoyed the fact that I was in it twice and listed as "Other" on the credits.
What I really enjoy about it is that I made it into the movie 2 years before I even met any of you! And since that time have met just about everyone in the movie!
spanish class last nite - it sounds silly, but we created a story as a class - from word choices all around the room - we told the story of a boy named oscar from kentucky - who wanted a purple duck, and he looked high and low for a small purple duck - and finally read one day in a book at the library that a small purple duck lived in the nose of abe lincoln at mt. rushmore.
yes - I know it sounds like a silly story - but i can actually tell the whole store in spanish as well as I can in english -cause it's so silly - the words stick with you. :sillygrin:
HeH I can totally see that. Good job Vino. Was it your whole class that had to come up with the story or teams within the class? I can see all kinds of fun combinations with those words.
there were large groups of words on the walls - like 30-40 per group. and each person had a word section - and you had to make up 3 sentances using a detail.
at the end - we had to retell the story.
it was fun and funny and it's a great way of learning.
