That was it, we got thrown out of Midway stadium. Of course, I was there with my fiancee, so maybe he thought I was going to get to 3rd base or something.
thats what I was thinking Brass!!! Lol find don't get out of the car and walk red!! lol or twist your knee or ankle!! lol because you slipped on ICE-MAN!! LOL
I think I agree about limiting it to places that have 24 hour accessibility. At first I was focusing on interesting places and it didn't worry me too much if it had limited hours. But the more I thought about it as it got closer, it did seem like a definite stopping point for a team that had worked up a lead which wouldn't be all that fair. So next time I think I will go for places that can be accessed 24 hours. That should also be easier to do with a warm weather hunt.
I was going to try and have a pool of "orphans" this time around, but I just got too busy working on the hunt to also try and organize the teams. But I think I'll have more buy-in from my Mason Lodge next time so I should have more help next time around.
Hmmm, I like that idea, even if I end up tweaking it a bit. I do like the game aspect of having more choices and thus crafting a more thought out strategy.
There was the reservation sign on the tennis court at Prospect Park and the engraving on the Stone Arch Bridge by Mill Ruins Park.
I used a graphics program I have to put the banners on the pictures, so with the banners they are in a format only that program can open. It can covert it to a PDF, but the files come out way too large to attach here. I could maybe post the origina photographs if anyone wants.
I guess that is another question to ask. How did people feel about the team size? Although I suppose without a Winner's Ball, there isn't much to limit a team size other than how many ways a team wants to split the money. If you don't care about the trophies, you could have 3 official members and 97 unofficial ones. Aside from that though, was 5 a good number?
I think if you do put any kind of limit on it It should be just like it is 5 with one And NO MORE then ONE unofficial team member!! just in case someone cant do it! or something along them lines!! but you unofficial team member has to be out on file with you!! so you know who they are! but then if there is any out side help and they get cought with it they are out!!
I don't think it's necessary to police the amount of outside help; however I do think a photo of an official team member by each location should be required in order to get credit for finding it.
thats why we called out the big dog with his fancey number mechine to do all the work he had the most sleep eavn after having to drive all the way home!!! at that hr and stop a few places to get INFo for us lol!!
those were the tracks we saw, they didn't even get out of the car!

Minnehaha falls
And a couple more that I don't remember...
by the fountain.
Minnehaha falls - Rate sign posted on the small shack between the falls and the pavillion

Means more money/more teams
or possibly $100 for four?
