I'm frequently happy to see you, Cluey. But until I met Mrs. Bear, I didn't know what it was like to be happy to go home to someone.

Especially after I found out Posen was a dood.

Yes it was definately a shock to leave 80 and Sunny and return to 0 (without the windchill) and cloudy. But we are planning our next vacation right now down to FL with the kids hopefully it will be nice down there too. They didn't come with us to Mexico, that was a free business trip.

It was a real treat to be able to wake up to that view each day and go to bed with the sound of waves crashing against the shore. It was also really nice that they always had breakfast lunch and dinner ready when we wanted it, no cooking  ...We got home and the first thing Mike said the next morning was, "You ready to go down for Breakfast?" I was like ya you cook it I'll go back downstairs to bed and you can bring it to me

I told you to spend the money on a top of the line hoe.

Second rate hoes can't take the constant beating, especially in the cold temps.

Boss-type person asked me to prepare a "clean" joke for a meeting friday. I told him I knew just the joke, "Three priests, a Jew, half a dozen black guys, 19 lesbians, Jake, and a Toucan walk into a bar..."

I stopped when his eyes were about to explode.

enjoy...

wanting an opportunity to meet someone (work related), but being unsure how to get myself to make an acquaintance and find a way into that persons 'circle'

and finding an invite on my desk - from that person - no less - inviting me to their wineries industry night on 1/31.

it's like someone handing the theif the keys to the car and saying - why don't you take it for a test drive...

The look on Elizabeths Face when I showed up to do some volunteering today at her school. I know it won't last but she looked so proud that her mommy was at school with her today.

Enjoyed spending the last 20 minutes on the phone with Mike Reinartz, one of the 1989 finders. I also received his brother Dan's survey in the mail today. Do you think twins think alike?

He wondered how many people picked up the earmuffs and then left them because they thought someone might come back looking for them. I told him "At least one". Sorry Terry!

I picked up three of Larry Millet's Sherlock Holmes series books today at the library. I'd already read and own the Ice Palace one, but thought this would be a good time to read the other three.

Getting a letter from Elizabeth school today saying she was recommended by her teacher to be part of an enrichment program for 1st grade readers. She is reading at a level way above her level. She is reading chapter books already and has been since last year.

I'm really enjoying Larry Millet's Sherlock Holmes and the Red Demon. In the book, James J. Hill hires Holmes to investigate a threat he's received to blow up his RR line to Duluth. It also involves the Hinkley fire.

Millet writes as the voice of Watson who has accompanied Holmes to Minnesota. Lots of St. Paul history in the 1880's.

I'd already read his Ice Palace book which is really fun because it covers a murder in the palace.
