Clue #1 You've joined the hunt for the regal runt
To prove searching does pay
Don't dig a hole or knock down a pole
And the golf course is out of play
Last year Jake took home the cake
With a clue a bit off level
This year we'll rinse off all our prints
Lest this hunt go to the devil
Clue #2 The point of all this is so that you won't miss
Your big chance to grab all the cash
Now gather your guys and a gal who is wise
You'll have to do something quite rash
Clue #3 We've scanned the county to hide our bounty
And keep you on your toes
It may sound risible, but our puck's invisible
Although it might just stick to your nose.
Clue #4 How fun is the snow how far will we go
You really ought to go see
Get up for the mission and not just the wishin'
Get into the game-it's all free
Clue #5 There once was a clue that drove you-know-who
To threaten a heinous act
We'd use it again but we're afraid of his pen
My friend, that's an unfortunate fact
Clue #6 All ye who look should honor the book
As one who stood for hope
Much was built in the name of the kilt
Look sharp now and never mope
Clue #7 If you should go look high then low
One could see it from a bower
If it's your bent you might seek a tent
To protect in case of shower
Take note of the wood and do what you should
To extract the prize for yourself
Build a bridge to your dreams as high as they seem
Leave nothing behind on the shelf
Clue #8 Look at the buck to acquire good luck
In finding the grail this year
Link a jar,a line, a star lawyer divine
While crying in your beer
He won, then lost and the nation was tossed
Into strife that was far from civil
The point I'm making is yours for the taking
Believe me - not the message board drivel
Clue #9 This name brings tears, elation and cheers
And occasionally even outrages
It sits on walls and rides the halls
And fills a dozen pages
The hills are alive and you'll have arrived
Refrain from the very injurious
Be bold and be brave but your skin you must save
What's off-limits should frankly be obvious
Clue #10 Look for the sight you hope is just right
You're doubtful and you're torn
Make the rounds for what rhymes with grounds
And part of a rose with a horn
Through flames and flow this park where you'll go
Is the site of sacred relics
Stay away from these and the cliffs if you please
Or you'll be in a heckuva fix
Clue #11 Air and river sounds lead all to Mounds
Far from the graves take your entourage
Twixt Burns and Thorn, an icy pathway is born
Across Mounds from a gray house and tan garage
Hell no fury hath as those on the wrong path
Mounds and Warner form a woodsy perimeter
The path not official contains footprints beneficial
Some 300 trudges in - quest for a quitter
This trail you must follow goes down a narrow hollow
Under a fallen tree to an old rusted drum
From here you must search for a hillside path perch
Wherein lies the center of fun

The Gateway State Trail is a 18.3 mile long multiple use trail starting in St. Paul. This paved trail cuts through a cross-section of urban areas, parks, lakes, wetlands and fields in Ramsey and Washington Counties. Many trail users are surprised to find these rural landscapes so close to the metro area, while others appreciate the access it provides to downtown and the State Capitol complex. Located on a former Soo Line Railway grade, the trail is very level and is wheelchair accessible. It provides access to other trail opportunities in Phalen-Keller Regional Park, connections to Stillwater and other destinations in Washington County.
on the ice palace monument, on one side, where some of the volunteers and stuff are listed - there are a buncha people with the last name of "Keller"....
also - when I drove up, there was somebody there with a flashlight, who hopped into their car, and sped off with the quickness.... was it anybody here?
That's a listing of [I believe] all Ramsey County Parks.
Violet, it was a Spotter.
their footprints only went to one area of the monument site... kinda weird, anyways....
they even left peel out marks on the ground, when they took off...
He was parked at the Beaver Lake parking lot by himself Sunday afternoon when we did the 'speed scouting' sign photos - took off rather quickly once he saw us pull over by the sign. large black sedan - probably a Thunderbird
Could be anyone - spotter, camo crue, drug dealer, pervert, I dunno....
Its funny that you group the Camo Crue, in with all the bad guys. :goofy:
I looked up the definition of "see"
Main Entry:
    see
Function:
    noun
Etymology:
Middle English se, from Anglo-French sé, see, from Latin sedes seat; akin to Latin sedēre to sit — more at sit
Date:
    14th century
1 aarchaic : cathedra b: a cathedral town c: a seat of a bishop's office, power, or authority2: the authority or jurisdiction of a bishop
St Paul is a cathedral town. Could they be toying with us on sending us up to CO Rd C just to bring us back to St Paul? Also mission is a religious thing which also would tie into the cathedral.
Also Gusdavus Adolphus Evengical Lutheran Church is on Arcade across from Round lake (part of Keller Park). On their website it notes :" Living out GodÂ’s Mission" http://www.gachurch.org/index.htm
That's what I got for now
the face-plate plaque thingy's that were on both of the rocks at Keller, are gone...
I can't help but thinking of a sled on this one. Skis (especially cross-country) come with an expectation that the user will provide the moving force--you go as far as you desire. Sleds are mostly passive--so there is kind of a "how far will you go" dimension to going down a hill. Especially the first time.
Bartender says "What can I getcha, cutie?"
Redbear says "Can I have a.

Bartender says "Sure, Bear. Why the big pause?"
<--coming out tonight...yay! Plus it's my birthday tomorrow.
Clearly happy to see her...
plus I'm so freakin' swamped in life it's my first shot at getting out...
Poor girl! There was much better'un me in the movie.
I'm back at Chair-O-Key. The Maid of Orleans gathered men many times. What that has to do with doing something rash - storming a fort? - is beyond me.
About spewed lunch at the Viagra thing!
Now back to work. See yaz tonight.
What's 3M's cheaper version of their scotch tape brand? Highland.
Just in case anyone wants to try and fit clues to Highland that is...
The church is on the list of historical buildings & there is a little info on it on the Little Canada City homepage.
There was also a small creek-ish pond next to spooner park - way back when.
Someone a couple hundred posts ago listed all the cities of Ramsey County. For the life of me I can't figure out how Blaine (Anoka) and St. Anthony (Hennepin) got on this list. At least not according to my Hudson atlas.
Secondly the link Green posted that lists all the parks in Ramsey county- I noticed that Roseville wasn't listed, then when I checked they had Central Park listed as New Brighton. So that list may not be accurate as far as the cities go.
Just thought I would add that for anyone using those as references.
Also, parts of St. Anthony and a small part of Blaine do end up in Ramsey County's borders.
