What irritates you?

Irritates: Hit and run drivers who run over people and go park like nothing happened.

A drunk was sleeping in our ramp entrance and a big SUV ran over him and slowed for a bit then entered our ramp and proceeded to park and go on their merry way. Probably up to talk to one of the many lawyers in our building. The guy was pretty messed up and there was blood everywhere. When I asked the police if he was going to make it they said it didn't look good. :confused: :angry: :frown:

How sad. So they have the guy in custody?

We're still trying to figure out if he's a contract parker or a transient parker. Either way we know the car and will stop it on it's way out.

so much for the value of human life. Pretty sad.

Wow. Do you suppose he knows he's in trouble and has taken off leaving his car?

I'm sure he'll deny knowing it.

I would assume that he knows we have cameras everywhere. Unless he really doesn't know he even ran over the dude and just thought it was a speed bump or something.

We caught most of it but not sure on the plate. He doesn't know that but they could maybe use it in court somehow and say it wasn't his white Yukon that came in at exactly 2:02pm today. Hopefully he's a contract parker where we would have all of his info right there and tie it into the video timing if needed.

Wouldn't he have a punched ticket or something showing the time he entered? If you have video, he could hardly say it wasn't his Yukon if there weren't two that entered at the same time.

If his truck is still in your ramp you should get some photos of the blood that would have to be on his tires or something. :frown:

I'm going out there now to look. Good idea on the photo just in case he denies it. Although I didn't see any tire marks in the puddle of blood at the scene.

You mean to say your doing all this? (photos ect) Why aren't the cops involved? Aren't they doing anything? Were they called?

it would only make sense that the CLUE Master would go find evidence.

The cops left to see how the guy was doing at the hospital. They only wanted us to call them with the plate #. Which we got. Oh well. It's in their hands now. I thought we could have stopped the guy from leaving but were told to just write down the plate and let him go. I see too many ways of getting out of this thing now for that guy. All he would have to say is that it wasn't his car and the police would have to prove otherwise. Which would be hard to make stand up in court. Unless they get the guy to confess. Sad

case in point - a friend called me today to say he didn't go back to work after lunch, cause his lunch upset his stomach?

1) you are an adult - next time don't eat something so crappy and depe fried 2) try an antacid 3) I'm sitting here at my desk after sick as a dog for the past 3 days cause I have to.. I don't really care about your upset tummy.

Idiot group # 4 - me. I haven't eatten anything yet today (3pm) cause every time I do, I throw up, and a) I have spanish class tonight and b) after class I have a 3 hour soccer practice - so puking isn't an option. but i sure feel yucky. :barf:

playing soccer last night for my skills class, and 2+ hours later still having the after affects like I was going to have an asthma attack. I had a hard time sleeping last night - couldn't breathe well from being so conjested, and when I did fall asleep, I'd wake up suddenly cause I couldn't breathe.
