I'd looked at twincities.com for a place to comment before I started whining about it here, but they only show where to comment on the online edition. Maybe someone will write a letter to the editor or something. When they changed the size one other time they got a lot of letters and changed it back. I'll let others do my dirty work for me. :pbpt:

The headline for the article talking about the changes is something like, "New Look. What Do You Think?" But then they don't give an address for the feedback they seem to be asking for. :eyeroll:

funny.

actually it's not.

when I met Jake - I did a double take. You know that green Tommy Hillfigger jacket Jake hunts in? Well, my XH had the exact same jacket.

The good news is - that after seeing current photos of my XH - he's huge and has like 3 chins - so the resemblence is no longer.

is for cookie...nuff said..

the Veggie Monster story is b.s.

heh

but interesting...tidbit..

on a Muppet game show, that the cookie-fixated creature we know emerged, Oz says. The winning contestant was offered the chance to choose a prize: a vacation, a new house, $10,000 cash, or a cookie. He chose the cookie — and the Cookie Monster was born.

but

Cookie Monster, v. 1.0: The Wheel Stealer, seen here in Jim Henson's original doodle, was created for a never-aired snack-food commercial

no, it's the honey they used. It tasted like it wasn't fresh. I'm a big honey fanatic, and this had a bit of a bitter chemical taste - kinda like either cheap honey (possible) or stuff that's been frozen accidently.

I'm starting to get giddy about going to this

http://www.festivalofowls.com/

should get to see European Eagle Owl, Tawny Owl, Spectacled Owl, European Barn Owl,Eastern Screech-Owls , Great Horned Owl, Barred owl, Northern Saw-whet Owl, and others.

not sure if i want to do this yet...

When owls eat, they eat fur, feathers, bones, and all. Once or twice a day, depending on the species, they throw up a pellet consisting of the indigestible portion of their meal--the fur or feathers and bones. By taking a pellet apart, you can figure out from the bones what the owl had for supper.

I found a great mexican place after making a wrong turn this evening while I was out caching.

Pancheros

http://www.pancheros.com/

They're setup similar to Chipotle, but they make their tortillas when you order, which I would never have guessed would make all the difference. I swear their burritos are WAY better than Chipotle's.

Only one problem, the closest one to my place is Bloomington...

Hey CM, is there a front end of a Metro Bus stuck in the side of your building on the sidewalk level?
Mon, 03/03/2008 - 8:18 PM Permalink
Clue Master

No but there was one across the skyway from me in the US Bank building. Not sure if it's still there though. It's on the skyway level though. I'd rather have the Cadillac front end like they have in Time Square.

Ok, was downtown a couple weeks ago for a geocache event, and there was a temp hide on the front of a metro bus that was sticking out of a building down there. CAG put a liscense plate on the front of the bus (magentic) with exipred tabs. Was a cool hide, and when I saw your picture looking down at "KC0GRN" it made me think of that area again. I like the caddie though too. Guess you could put that in the suggestion box and see where it leads.

UH-OH, wondering what is in the works at KC0GRN's place. Will there be holes burned through every house in a six block line??? Thinking of that movie with Val Kilmer where they did that at school (and then filled a house with popped popcorn). Can't remember the name of it though.
