Yes. Married at Augustana on Robert St. Reception at Radisson plaza. Groom's dinner at Ray J's in Woodbury. Not my choice all around, but it is what it is.

Ray J's isn't too bad - it's just not what Awada's used to be.

Better get out as many invites as you can before stamps go up again.

Good luck!

We actually got $250 worth of forever stamps a few months ago so we're sitting pretty on the stamp front.

Getting my wife's car back on the road after it was out of commission for over a year and a half. So much for that insurance check from the Caddie. I feel good about it though. Fix the hail dents on the Caddie or fix the transmission on the Blazer. Can't pull the camper with the Caddie so I guess the decision's been made. Plus I don't get as paranoid when the kids are around the Caddie anymore. It actually feels liberating in a sense. But the kids still know to stay away from it as much as possible. I won't tell them I feel any different.

Plus it's nice to see her car up and running again

I've been driving Ted's car for just over eight years now. It still has his stuff in the counsel. Sometimes his things come in handy. Ares, Sue and I used a pair of his work gloves for cardboard Zephy when he was performing a proctology exam on the frog at Como during the hunt a few years ago.

But it is nice to have. Feels comfortable. Kind of like sitting in a favorite chair.

agreeing to playing on a 3rd (!!) soccer team. It's a high division, open age co-ed which means it's

a) way out of my league -skill wise

b) pitting me up against mostly 18 yr olds who play HS/College ball

c) going to make me work for it!

i'm nervous, but I think it will make me get in better shape and play better in the long run.

Yuppers! Very emotional today but it was OK. I wasn't even thinking about it because I was worried what I paid 2k for. But it hit me hard when I became comfortable.

Having my son endure a life lesson -

He was in town this past weekend visiting (and of course not watching the news) so he was a little miffed when on Sunday he received word that he better get his butt in gear and back up North because they received 8 inches of snow on Saturday and it was still coming down... hard.

Reluctantly he got on the road at 2:00pm. At 5:30 he called to check in about 10 miles south of Motley - "Roads are not that bad, it's not a big deal, I'll call you when I reach home" (which would be about 1 more hour)....... 6:30 no call, 7:30 no call, 8:15 finally a call, he is exhausted!

Once he hit Motley the Snow God hit him and hit him hard - he never went faster than 15 miles an hour - Once he was 2 miles from home, his truck got stuck in the snow (yeah they don't plow those dirt roads like here in the city). Prepared to walk he was picked up by a snowmobiler who was able to get him within 1/4 mile of home before he started to get stuck (too many fallen trees and low branches of heavy snow so the sled wasn't moving fast enough and would sink and get stuck). So he walked the rest of the way home in drifts above his knees (for those that haven't met him, he is 6 feet 4 inches tall).

Lesson Learned

The internet. As much crap that's posted out there, there's 10 times the amount of useful information. I woke up today with a freezing house. I was able to trouble shoot my way to fixing the furnace myself. I love when stuff like that works. It took a bit of searching but I was able to find the forum that addressed my problem. Although it was hidden down deep in the forum, I was able to use what I knew about the internet to get at the answer to something that was out of my knowledge base. I just wish you didn't need to sign up for those forums just to post a thank you.

Yep, clean that off. That'll be $125.00 please.

If it happens again just buy a new one. Regular house dust turns to silica on them, then they dont sense the flame, and your burner shuts off. The sensing rod senses the electricity that's sent from the igniter and gets rectified from AC to DC as it passes through the flame. Sometimes the silica actually comes from the sensing rod itself.

Best bet is to replace it, but cleaning it will last for a while sometimes.

You can always tell when this is hapening because the flame will come on and then shut off right away. After a few tries some systems will lock out. If its locked out just turn down the thermostat for one minute then back up, or turn off power to the furnace and then turn back on. If it still lights then goes out its the flame rod sensor (on two rod systems) or the combination flamerod sensor/igniter on a one rod system.

After a few tries some systems will lock out

Mine fried my igniter two different times because it kept cycling all the time. I was glad I was home to turn it off manually. Otherwise I saw myself picking up a new igniter again and not fixing the original problem. Good info 3M. I should have talked with you first. The check would be in the mail.

Plea deal: The actress has copped a plea in her shoplifting case. She was charged earlier this week with petty theft for trying to take a pack of batteries and two Star magazines worth $16.22 on Feb. 13 from a store at L.A. International Airport. In the plea deal, she agreed Wednesday to plead guilty to disturbing the peace and to pay $700 in fine and penalties.

Not guilty plea: The singer has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of drugs when he crashed his car Nov. 21 in Los Angeles. An attorney entered the plea Wednesday for Weiland, who was not required to appear in court for his arraignment because of the misdemeanor count. A pretrial hearing was set for April 4.

wtf...

not sure how i did that...but oh well..

LOS ANGELES — Bai Ling has copped a plea in her shoplifting case.

The actress was charged earlier this week with petty theft for trying to take a pack of batteries and two Star magazines worth $16.22 from a store at Los Angeles International Airport.

In the plea deal requested by her attorney, she agreed Wednesday to plead guilty to disturbing the peace and to pay a fine and penalties totaling $700, city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said.

The misdemeanor infraction "carries the same penalty as petty theft," Mateljan said.

In a message posted on her blog, the actress proclaimed "I am innocent" below a photo of herself with her thumb up.

"Theft dismissed! Yes! This is it! All the darkness went away," she wrote.

The actress, who has appeared in such films as "The Crow" and "Anna and the King," was arrested Feb. 13 after she was detained by a store employee who summoned police.

She later told E! News that she was having an "emotionally crazy" day because she and her boyfriend broke up right before Valentine's Day.
