Leaking fuel filter

need I go on?

at least I fixed the fuel filter leak, cleaned my terminals, and wired up the muffler thats shot so it don't fall off. And I have the repair for the under warrenty shock schedualed for tomorrow morning.

Found out toaday I had a broken sway bar. $225 to replace both of them. Probly broke as a result of the broken shock (I'd never be able to prove that so I won't try to). While getting the shocks fixed I found out they put the wrong ones on last time and thats probly why it broke. They replaced both rear shocks for nothing.

Now if I can make it without my muffler falling off I'll be ok for a while.

you asked at the funeral if you should take care of him.

lets just say it involves paying a retainer.

on the bright side, the motion he filed shows that he's acting pro se. and we all know what they say about the man who represents himself in court.

Oh, I heard about that. I think given that he got the birthdays wrong, the "best interest of..." debate will be relatively short. Annoying, of course. But legitimate, no way.

bear, the birthdays don't even scratch the surface. we put together 4 pages of response to each of the "points" he made in the motion last night. they involved his involvement with the girls' education, his choice to respect their wishes regarding not seeing him between the funeral and his leaving, and a line of things too long to even write.

fortunately his actions have done a really good job of shooting his arguments in the foot.

Ugh.. I think I woke up every hour last night. Darned anxiety about a dentist appointment (I had a bad experience at my last dentist years ago) early this morning... Now I'm feeling it.

Oh well, I'll sleep like a baby tonight at least.

the soreness from something new. I attempted to play goalie yesterday for my girl game - I played the whole second half - no pads, no gloves, just me and the ball. I gave up 1 goal - so I didn't do too bad. I'm just stiff today from it - my shoulders hurt. I got my finger bent back pretty good on one catch.

I did buy a few extra tickets with the help of a friend

that I'll place up and make enough to at least pay for one of the nights I'll be going. I figure if I paid $140 a ticket (after fees) that I'll sell for $175 each.

yes- insane

I remember $17.50 a ticket 25 years ago. Thats 10 times more today.

its gotta cap somehow (like the housing market)

people can't afford it!

Celene Dion start at $175 if I remember right.

I remember paying $75 for Elton John and that was crazy!

$100 a ticket is the norm right now. I paid $100 each for Alicia Keys for Wed night.as a gift.

Time to think about a trip to Branson to ease the pocketbook  haha

show tickets are only like $30-40! And the Myth is only $30-40 for a show and you get to be close to the stage no matter where you are.

$500 a ticket for less than two hours of work. There's only a handful of professions that get that kind of money in this market...

I can't say I blame the techs....I'd do it myslf...If i went into a house that millions of roaches..I'd just open up the sprayer and go nuts myself just to get the hell out of the house..

normally as a tech. you dind't ever want to be in a house for more than 20mins..but if you follow'd the LAW...you'd be there for at least and hour...

its standard in the industry its a commission job so you learn to be fast.

Supervisors who don't get it....

By 3:00 today my To Do for this week grew from 5 items to 35 items!! So I went to the head of the dept gave him my list and said prioritize, and keep in mind that anything for the reunion HAS TO BE DONE since the event is this Thursday night. He looked at me like "What's the big deal? you shouldn't have any problems getting it all done?"

I had to point out the fact that I have only 32 hours this week. 8 will be tied up with the event on Thursday - 5 are slotted for mandatory meetings that I am to attend - Another 3 for email and phone calls that I need to handle and then lets add another 2 hours for all the "Can you do this real quick" items that I know will happen as the week progresses.

So lets do the math: 32 - 8 - 5 - 3 - 2 = 14 hours divided with the 35 tasks? I can not spend more than 24 mins on each task. (granted some tasks will take only 5 - 10 mins to complete but most will take at least 1 hour).

Results: I have faith that you will do the best you can and get them all done - UGH Supervisors!!

Now, don't get me wrong here, but being in management myself I feel compelled to ask how long it took you to figure out the math on all your tasks and how long to bitch about it?

HAHA - You could have been 3/4 the way done.

I have faith in you
