I might have to disqualify this clue since this street I believe only exists in minnehopeless, not in St. Paul
Flash referred to Queen, or it referred to the woman in the movie (whose name I would not have remembered, but I did catch the Hill and Dale part)?
It refered to the girl, but since you mentioned Quarterflash, I had to use the opportunity to throw another clue in there, thus the Queen reference, hoping to lead people to figure out that the "flash" I was refering to was Flash Gordon.
ironically, rush, there is a prince street in boreas' realm. looks like a dead-end maybe 50 feet southeast of 4th street and broadway downtown. mapquest shows it.
bax man- over the last 2 years, I was kinda mad at lurkers. but your point made me remember when I was a first timer. I was nervous about posting, and I was relieved(kinda) when I was proclaimed a member of the crew. tons a people were nice to me, and that is why I am here posting now. thanks for the thought.
Well lets see the part about the mat and door suggests that the word should come after the word John much like doormat is a word. You also have Bob in there, now the only name I can think of linking John & Bob is Denver
I agree Tim, it is nice to be more active and throw stuff out, although with how well my street clues are working, I'm questioning my resoning skills :). Curious lurkers are good and that was exactly my point about trying to keep things open :). And RH proceeding John is one of the clues I was going for! Wow-hoo! No let's see if that does help pick the right street, and Denver isn't part of it :)
I'm on my way out the door of the office...I'll check back in 20 or so from home and either give an answere or hopefully find the correct one waiting :)
Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Bob Seegar. The only song about a lawman I can think of is "I Shot the Sheriff" where the Sheriff's name was John Brown, but I guess that isn't it.
To get into the grind, you'll have to wind
Along every curve that it makes.
And if its the treasure you hope to find
Think of slamming on the brakes.
Ok, I'm going to give another clue to the oldest unsolved one. The Chicago train is called the "L" because its elevated.
does anyone know when the torchlight parade is?
dale, wa-hoo. i just needed to get the 24 hours part. i knew the train was the 'el'.

>dale, wa-hoo. i just needed to get the 24 hours part. i knew the train was the 'el'.
Yep that answers my clue as well.
Yes, Dale. Finally we have a winner! hehe
And the torchlight parade is Saturday, February 3rd at 6 pm
wanna tell us the street rush? i can tell ya if it's in stp. :)
double JOE
Its not a St. Paul Street? That's cheating!
By the way, what was the band that "flash" referred to?
BTW the Dale clue for me works out as such:
If hunting the stash.
And you want the cash.
Then skip the hill and get over here.
(THINK OF THE SAYING OVER HILL AND DALE)
Think of a girl in a flash.
(THINK OF FLASH's FEMALE FRIEND IN THE MOVIE FLASH GORDON)
And the street name will appear
So Flash refered to the band Queen who recorded all the music for the soundtrack to the movie.
For the next clue, what is Battle Creek the home to, if its not referring to the Medallion? (Boy, that would have been a great red herring clue!)
Flash referred to Queen, or it referred to the woman in the movie (whose name I would not have remembered, but I did catch the Hill and Dale part)?
I can think of a lot of things, mostly wildlife. i went to battle creek middle, and took a hike all the way down to 61 in both 7th and 8th grades.
Its not a St. Paul Street? That's cheating!
It was a mistake on my part, the one I'm pulling is Prince Street.
While investigating the situation
(investigating could equal searching for "prints")
To find the treasure's location
Noodle this clue with your head.
(Noodle refers to Prince Spaghetti)
And if that doesn't give you the needed information.
Search for a symbol instead.
(Symbol refers to Prince changing his name to the unpronouncable symbol a few years back)
Flash referred to Queen, or it referred to the woman in the movie (whose name I would not have remembered, but I did catch the Hill and Dale part)?

Mine again...it's funny to think "oh this is easy" when you write it and then see no takers becasue it's not!
A hunter with with good design
Won't be late
Nor need a magistrate
To find the correct sign
Same street:
As a mat preceeds a door
It proceeds a john
So hurry if you have to go
Lest you wet your pants through good
ah, I get it all now.
As for Battle Creek, let's just say, expand your horizons, hehe.
ironically, rush, there is a prince street in boreas' realm. looks like a dead-end maybe 50 feet southeast of 4th street and broadway downtown. mapquest shows it.
That is like four blocks from me, I'm surprised I didn't think of that.
As for Battle Creek, let's just say, expand your horizons, hehe.
expand your horizons as in Horizon Dental or New Horizons child care???
As in a different Battle Creek.
Sorry Bax, still can't come up with a guess on yours.
Battle Creek is home to what you seek, But not in the way you think. So if you understand of what I speak Into the treasure your teeth may sink
OK, the most well known Battle Creek I can think of is Battle Creek, MI.
The ANSWER IS KELLOGG!!!
Great clue AW!
Yes, Kellogg!
Thank goodness for noodlability!
that was a good clue aw.
Here's an easy one:
This hunt boils down to finding the prize.
So don't get thrown or upheaveled
and if the spot you can't realize.
In a minute it will all be revealed
62nd St? Although that would be on the Minneapolis side again.
So I suppose then it would be Rice St.
A hunter with good design

Same street:

Lest you wet your pants through good
Last try:
A singer named Bob leads
The Hit-Parade with the song
Of a Lawman who shares his name
But not his title
Brown?
When hunting this street don't fall to the back.
And let a hog guide the way.
If you continue on along this track.
A wreck will be one of the next things seen this day.
Yes it was Rice!
Not Brown if that was a guess for mine AW
Bob as in Marley?
Not as in Marley

there are two kinds of lurkers... 1. Curious lurkers(we like them!)
2. Selfish lurkers(arghhhh!)
I agree Tim, it is nice to be more active and throw stuff out, although with how well my street clues are working, I'm questioning my resoning skills :). I got Kellogg!!! I got Kellogg! But only with the hints... But, at least I may be getting a bit better!
This is FUN!
I've got to fro for a bit... Still got work to do. Bock later, 'Heads!
Thats what I was thinking of too, AW. I've got to run myself but I'll check back in about an hour if anyone is still here.
This one is still outstanding from me.

Hmm, is there a Daytona St? I thought there was.
Well, I'm off until later this evening sometime.
RH- Energy Park Drive?
