Tim - thank you. I'm flattered...but be aware. Somethings I have etched in my brain, but after 30 years of digging and noodling, some things are just fuzzy.
To get into the grind, You'll have to wind Along the curvy path that it takes. And if the treasure you hope to find Think about slamming on the brakes.
Why do you want MORE snow? I think we have enough for now. I tried my new shovel for a couple minutes in the yard, and just as I suspected, the snow is hard at the bottom. This year will truly be a workout, plus, I hope I get to dig more than just one night, and one morning.
ironically, allison, wheelock popped into my mind when you first wrote that this afternoon. for some reason i dismissed it (reading only the first part of the clue, methinks i'll go far towards erasing my tagline :).
Jake--Were you calling Ms. Cleo? That woman with the tarot cards from cable TV? I called her and asked about the medallion and she said, "I see a woman with a heater in one hand, and a shovel in the other. She's wearing a pith helmet, and wearing a dark color possibly green, she will get very close, but I don't know if she will find it. That I cannot know for sure."
I'm going to find it this year because this year I don't have a significant need for the money. It would never be found by someone who really needed the money.
sure, tim. and the turned over snow you dug it out of was turned by me when i hid it. oops, was i thinking out loud again?
dave, your red green tagline reminded me of an email a friend of mine (who bleeds green and gold, understandable since she's from milwaukee) sent me the other day. one of those "inspirational" posters. word: ineptitude; picture: dennis green; caption: "if you can't learn to do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly". my, oh my, how d.g. makes a good scapegoat.
I agree with you aw. i'm here for the thrill of the hunt. but think about it. how many people who could really use the money can afford the time off work to hunt the way some of us do?
I got the same one Ares, along with many others that were similar. I have to agree with you, that Mr. Green does seem to take a disproportionate part of the blame for the "failure" of a team scheduled to finish second to last in the division! As for your Packer friend, I understand that green and gold bleeding can be corrected if one only says Don Majkowksi backwards three times!
trips JOE
oops, no trips but a palindrome JOE instead
Thanx TV
There was also one year that there were two hunts because the first treasure was found so early.
I almost said that was before my time - but in reality it was before my hunting time.
Ter- I think you should be disqualified from the Jeopardy game, or at least be on my team!LOL
Tim - thank you. I'm flattered...but be aware. Somethings I have etched in my brain, but after 30 years of digging and noodling, some things are just fuzzy.
did we get all the streets figured out this afternoon, or do some of them still remain?
Maybe 'some' things are fuzzy out of 50 hunts. For most of us, we don't even get fuzzy we get nothing.
double JOE
Posible snow Sat/Sun, 30's next week, maybe snow on tues. PLEASE SNOW
JOE again
Hi again, Snow is fine, but i hate the cold.
My last one still remains. It was something like:

ayd mill, allison?
do we have to start calling them "tim's"? :)
I hope to dig for five minutes and then find it! hehe
yes, call them tim's! and Allison, you have a valid point, but I was just trying to be realistic. I think 10 minutes is more like it dont you.
Ayd Mill it is not. But you're partially thinking along the right lines.
or wheelock?
it is wheelock, isn't it?
Wheelock was it! Wheel lock = brakes and its a windy road.
That makes sense to me.
and to be quite honest, there's a beautiful night view of the city from atop the ridge.
is there a como parkway, raft? como blvd, yes? as much as i want to deny its existence, i've got this déja vu feeling about it.
You still there Terry???
I'm still here and noodling what you have up your sleeve.
Will you im me?
ironically, allison, wheelock popped into my mind when you first wrote that this afternoon. for some reason i dismissed it (reading only the first part of the clue, methinks i'll go far towards erasing my tagline :).

Not bad riv.
88 snake- I ussually find it, and then put it back, because I feel bad that I am so good.
I put it back cuz I just do.
maybe this year is my turn
Ok, forgive an off-board comment. I just saw Ricky Martin, Muhammed Ali, and Wayne Newton at Mr. Bush's inaugaral.
I'm going to find it this year because this year I don't have a significant need for the money. It would never be found by someone who really needed the money.

If you are in this for the money you are in it for ALL of the wrong reasons!!!
If I were fortunate to find it, at least a portion of the money would go to charity.
word up.
