I just sent off an email to the Barack campaign and asked if they really want Hillary a heart beat away from the presidency after what she said about RFK. The Clinton's worry me. The whole "do anything to win" attitude is disturbing in this context. Not to mention she brings Bill along with her and can you see him sitting back? Just yesterday he was complaining about Barack and how he has others do his dirty work for him. No Hillary VIP please! That's not change. And her approval ratings stink.
I'm off to the rally! Tally Ho! I guess I'll drive.
I'm home and had a wonderful time! Had to leave my umbrella under a tree outside the building because they don't allow umbrellas. ?? Found it still there when I came out. I ended up parking in the lot across the street and had no trouble getting out. Glad I drove.
Anyway, Barack was great, the crowd was pumped and Michelle looked beautiful!
Many older white women said they'd jump ship and vote for MaCain if Hillary wasn't on the ticket. It may not be the 18 million votes she received but it's a big enough portion to seriously consider it.
Well, my mother always told me it's a valuable cranberry shade fixture and it is not to be sold with the house, so I guess it travels with me. So I'm stuck with it. The original is in the basement if/when this old house is sold.
I did take a lot of teasing about it when I was a teenager though.
It's a scary place, that basement. Almost as scary as the attic. My parents never threw out anything. There's a complete set of every Life magazine from when they first published in 1936 or so until they stopped being a weekly in the 70's? I keep waiting for the ceiling to fall on me while I'm sleeping.
I looked it up. 1936 - 1972. I know the first issue is a week in October, so let's say the last was October also and that adds up to 1,872 magazines. :ooh:
They're all in pretty good shape except for an issue from June of 1961 that we used pictures from for one of our high school reunion booklets.
what kind of mood are you in today!!!! take the hillary mood quiz!!! LOL
feel of them looks like there may have been a cigar mixed in to the play or a wrong way road if you get what I mean!! lol :coolfrown: :coolfrown: we at the secret Service Dont like your kind of jokes about her!!! grrrrr :coolfrown: :coolfrown:
infact.... I issued a public challenge (I yelled out my window, just a few minutes ago!) to both of the SUPPOSED "front runners", for a series - of what we in the business like to call - "town-hall" style Q & A sessions....
the first of which would be at the Lake Phalen amphitheater....
hit the "print screen" button on the top righthand side of your keyboard (usually above "insert" and to the right of "f12" then open up microsoft paint and paste it in then use the cropping tool to cut out just your map and copy it then open a new paint document and paste that finally save the picture of just your map and then upload it to photobucket.
Yea. When you "print Screen" it copies the screen into "memory" and it seems like nothing happened, but it did copy it.
Next- Click "start' Then "Programs" then "accessories" then click on "paint" to open paint,
After paint is open click on "edit' (in paint program) and then click "paste".
The screenshot will appear in the program.
Then use the "crop" tool to select only part of the screenshot. To select this tool look for the square in the left part of the screen in paint and click on it. Then click where you want to select in your screen shot and drag the mouse to select the area you want.

Edit: OMG, what a typo! Pay, Pay! I guess it was the medical connotation. :sheepish:

She's still kicking and screaming till then.
but I guess it's all about Hillary still...
Create the map there, then take a screenshot and use a program like paint to crop it so only the map is in the picture. Then upload it to photobucket.

Neither one has responded....
Thanks! I'll see if I can get this done. I have a great map!
When I hit printscreen, I'm not sure how to tell it to save to the desktop, because nothing seems to "happen" when I hit print screen.
If you post it, I'll bookmark the post so I can refer back to it next time.
Thanks, in advance, mikey!
