I learned something recently. If you put softener sheets in your socks and pockets, it repels ticks. It seemed to work for us over Memorial Day. I tore the sheets in quarters so they weren't as bulky.

but that takes away from half the fun!! lol of checking each other for ticks!!!

I'll bet it works really well for those who have to do self tick checks, though!
