We had about 25 people at our house to surprise the wife on Sunday afternoon for her birthday. We had cake and went through 2 of those 1919 root beer cans making floats for the relatives and co-workers.
The weather was excellent! I didn't mind having all the doors and windows open. I'm kinda surprised with all the sugar spilled about that I haven't seen any ants yet. I guess we cleaned up the spills pretty good.
Finishing my walk - not only finishing all of it, but coming in 115 out of over 3700 people - each day well over 2 hours ahead of most of my teammates.
Enjoy: acing the written part of my midterm writing exercise
Enjoy - 18 holes of golf yesterday (on muscle relaxers from the walk)
Enjoy - Rack of Lamb I whipped up last night for dinner.
reading Vinos posts..... which are (generally) upbeat and positive  and show what determination, hard work and dedication she has, to herself and others.
Thanks for sharing your positive attitude - I appreciate it.
I finally got under 200 myself.. gotta keep at it. But it's great to hear all the successes on it, keeps me motivated  Thanks guys and gals
Actually, I've just learned to have more expensive and refined tastes. Not that I can't enjoy a burger from mcdonalds, but if I go pay more for a good one, I'm not going to eat them as often. Same goes for ice cream. Shoot I don't even buy the stuff anymore, I just go to someplace like izzy's. It's better when it's fresh and not taunting me in my freezer anyway.
That or pipefitters is a dream job. I'm crossing my fingers. I'm blown away that I even got an interview at the pipefitters. The wage is curently $34 an hr. They start you at 50% and increase 10% a year untill full wage. Catch is you have to go to school 2 nights a week for 5 years. But I think I'll start at the beginning of the 3rd year mark so I'll start at 70% and only have 3 years of night school. Busy 3 years, but definatly worth it!
just make sure you badge through every door you go through there; don't piggy back on someone else's badge. they get real cranky if they can't track down every single person in case of an emergency.
suckers

keep up the hard work!
I gained some of mine back -
I had lost 8 sizes over the last 3 years but gained 4 back so I guess I'm good.
I know how hard it is to do and I just plain love food too much.

not making a big deal out of
running out of gas when its 95 degrees out, instead casually walking to the gas station to get ice cream and gas.
glorious!
a big, fat, al pastor burrito with lots of rice, and few beans, and smothered in sour cream.
ya.. i know - it's HORRIBLE for my diet. but it was soooo good, and with the mood I was in earlier - it was just the perfect thing.
So, I feel ok in eating it. justified even.
Yeah...it is just a matter of sticking to it. Some days are better then others!!!
I had a big fat piece of Dairy Queen ice cream cake the other day. MMMMMMMMMMM it was worth all 24 points.
Knowing that they are only 2 bucks and knowing that if I need another one it is a block walk and they are open tell 10!!!
so if it comes down to it I can walk there again!! for another!!!
And Listen to some Sublime!!! 40oz's to freedom!!!!
I also applied today for a job at Koch Refinery (Flint hills). That job would be great too!!
I picked a great field to work in!
I really like the work at Mall of America, but would really like to make a lot more money and have a pension plan.
All of the above (with poss exeption of the county pension plan) have a pension plan and way better wages.

I hope you get that one if any!!!
