Having 5 different people in my Pipefitters interview (mostly Program instructors) tell me repeatedly how well I did on their test. They said I answered questions that some of their 10 year guys didn't know. They asked me what I thought of the test and I told them it was pretty easy, exept the stuff I didn't know from school. Then they laughed and told me I did "extremly well". They said I did way better than most.
They wanted to know how I knew about VAV's (since they dont teach about them at Century) and I told them I looked it up on the internet. One guy said it was pretty impressive that I took the time to find out about the test and look stuff up on my own. Said I was "pretty resourceful". (It also helped that I replaced a motor in a VAV today at MOA)
They said they want me enrolled in their training program (work and school) but they want me to stay at the Mall Of America for now. They said I'll learn more there than I would at some place they put me for a month. They said they'll call around to their companies and find a good job for me somewhere where I won't get laid off. They said if I don't hear from them in 3 weeks to call them. They said they didn't want to place me somewhere where I'd get laid off after a short time.
of course the irritates is that the "big" 8 port controller i bought to put it on doesn't fit in the computer (133mhz pci-x card, no 3.3v slot to drop it in in the one), so i think i've got to swap motherboards between the two downstairs.
All on my same monthly ticket. Not much but I don't think I've seen the same pb come up that often in that short of time. And it happened to be my # on top of it. :cool:
AFV on Sunday night had theme of "Practical Jokes" for its home video clips. The fake lottery scratch winners are priceless.
I thought about faking a Powerball drawing by using a previously recorded drawing on TiVo and a current ticket. I don't know anyone who religiously watches the drawings every Wednesday and Saturday to pull that prank.

Actually, I like the video too. I didn't realize the Sesame Street set is now in 3-D! It used to be just a painted backdrop - now they actually have back alleys, etc... I guess in the age of HiDef TV they need to make it look more realistic for the young'uns. Any gang signs painted on the walls?
having the universe align to almost perfection for me today.
I am dressed really cute - my hair looks adorable (after yesterday hating my new "strawberry blonde" color - heels that feel really good (for high heels) on my feet, wearing my 'skinny' jeans again (that's right, the size 0 are back in action! - lets pray they still fit after lunch!)
and I dunno - a lot of stuff sucks, but guess what? I'm not letting it bring me down today.
enjoy - taking my spanish final this morning. I still don't get the whole concept of subjunctive clauses, but that's ok - I can figure them out next semester - my knowledge of the language went from good, to really good - and that's what matters.
ya - yesterday was my day. today isn't looking so bad either - except I left the house this morning, and forgot to put on a bra. :goofy: good thing my tanktop has a shelf thingy in it.. that's what I get for sleeping til the last minute I guess.
I was thinking of how vino was having this great day where the stars and planets musta been aligned for her and how I have this unlucky number for my birthday and how some people have lucky numbers in their date of birth, however, lucky numbers are technically in the eye of the beholder. What if there were no number system in place? no numbers?
so what extracts or constitutes luck? the planet and stars aligning yesterday because the day she was born had stars and/or planets aligned special?
my daughter Sarah is always lucky (cept for life stresses thrown her way this week) - she loses something? someone finds it and turns it in. She breaks something? somehow it became easily replaced or fixed.
so what if there were no stars you ask? well we can see the stars, we know they are there. numbers were made up by humans that we actually cannot see. the number 8 is known as infinity...what if we called the number eight the number four so four would be eight and now infinity. we can't see God either...cept in what we invision him to be or have done through us or for us. numbers are what we invision them to be. 4 is called eight and 8 is called four? kinda like we coulda called a dog a cat and a cat a dog, however we can see a cat or dog - Just think, that song 1..2..3..4.. could sound like 1...2...3...8...
A four leaf clover could be called an eight leaf clover but look like this:

Not sure if it's an enjoy or not just yet, but being given the all clear to stop all my meds and see what happens. I need to monitor my bp daily to make sure I don't explode. But I have hope anyway.
