By creating your own clues with a specific place in mind is a very good way to understand how a clue is comprised. I sent out mock clues to a number of searchers last year to see what they got out of them. It was interesting to all of us on what was the actual meaning of the clue and what was deciphered after 2 days of thinking it over. I find that same problem every year when the Press publishes the meanings of the clues and we had better meanings ourselves. I guess over thinking the clues is much more interesting, just disappointing in the end. (Kind of like the Vikings:) Happy Hunting
It ws either the clue writer or someone who wants us to believe they were the clue writer. Maybe they want us to think that I'm not the clue writer by appearing. Or maybe you would see that ruse and think its too much of a coincidence that we were on at the same time. Or maybe I knew that you would see that coincidence, but think it was too obvious a ploy to be fooled by and thus believe that I really wasn't the clue writer...

ahhh, too much slogging, not sure bout allison's theory bout not mentioning a "park", and its nogging at my mind. maybe, then the words "game and duel" are haunting me too. whens the parade?
Hi all been digging this aft. Mostly at phalen a little at Prosperity park that is where my wife thinks it is. I am very happy to have her getting into it..
Digging is hard this year. I found that chopping was much faster.
Ares - i was playing with trains at the bandana square modil train mus. I would have prefered the bash but the kids weren't up for it.
Some thoughts while digging... Keep on your toes... either above ground hiding, or on/by slippery ground ice rink or lake...
duel is between 2 people like tennis, pitchers duel, horseshoes...
What the heck does June refer to??
Beloved is seen on tombstones alot could be a park by a cemetary
Say, wasn't there, one year, something in the clues about looking up, where The Med was hidden in what? A tree???? And The Writer(s) is saying if you "dig" you'll search forever...
I do believe the bold refers to above ground hiding, what with everything else. Maybe "June" izz just to rhyme with "soon".
Maybe I'll got bock to noodling Snoopy/Schultz and boxing/fencing. Can't tie Snoopy/Schultz into a park yet, but boxing I can and also fencing.
We have four hours to go before the next clue gives us a bit more to gnaw on. I wonder if that clue will talk about golf courses and parks - or if we'll be as clueless as we are right now.

But,but can't vampires be in the same place at the same time? Or are we supposed to think that just so we won't know who the clue writer really is?
Mr.Cluewriter, what do you think of the fencing ballerina pirates in the frogpond? I'm on to you!!!!
No, vampires can't be in the different places at the same time, which is what I think you meant. But then again, if we could, would I tell you?
Oh the humanity!! I am so confused!!!!!!
Lookit

Is a palinajoe
and you got the palindrome joe scribe
Yes,yes I did!:)
Actually it wasn't a palinjoe. Backwards it would be 01701.
but she did get 10701.
Be back later,I got to go rest........27 you hear me??? REST!
10701 was the palinjoe, though Scribe did get that one too.

From the newspaper.
Of course I would mistype my own initials to again intentionally throw people off.
did i miss posts of someone accusing you of writing the clues again, allison? well, except of course for my own.
Seems like someone did recently. Can't remember if it was you or Scribe or someone else.
I think it was scribe, starting the vampire thread :). but you do have to admit, you've got a knack for clue-writing unmatched by the rest of us here.
Maybe I'll have to write another Mock Hunt then when this one is over.

WW--please explain tag line.
dave, that's pretty much it.
Joe to the world.....Time for a break for the Simpsons.
Has it been pointe-ed out yet that 'on your toes' could refer to ballet (Ordway adjacent to Rice)?

You can play with the trains in the gift shop.

Hay, DDave and New Daddy!

Maybe I'll just go join Bee in The Frog Pond.
Hmmm, could it be June rhymes with soon?
Allison - you might be onto something there.
June bugs are found in.............PARKS!!!!
