Hey... was supermayor srawn by someone who uased to draw for the Pioneer Press-Dispatch?

Looks like artwork that was in a book I got when I was a paperboy. I lovede that book, I always tried to draw alkl of the stuff in it, which ended in the book eventually getting ruined and tossed out. I don't remember his name but I wish I had the book back. :frown:

Are you thinking of Jerry Fearing? I think you might be right! In fact, I know you're right.

Yes it is! That is him, anyone but me wouldn't forget a name like that!

No, it was a special book, very big... kinda had a "through the years" kinda feel to it. Like it chronicled all of his artwork from early to the end. I want to say it was made after he died or retired or something. Like a huge tribute.

Matt Birk graduated from Harvard with an economics degree in 1998.

Depends, how much would have had to have been spent to keep it open the next few weeks? Not just staff but mostly inventory that has gto be bought in bulk etc...

Maybe they want to have a larger net loss than a profit for some strange tax situation or something.

Maybe from a business prospective it made sense to close before the carnival since a large part of his clientele would be getting a discount anyway during that time anyway.

Timmers.... can you explain to me how Clutterbuck was tossed in the game (canucks)... I can see the boarding call, he should have been able to stop when he turned around... I don't understand it being a major, let alone the 10 min. game misconduct. But I know the misconduct is required per NHL reg's with a major on a boarding call. Now they are saying he is gone for the game....

Did I miss something? He should have been brought back after 15 minutes, which would have been at the start of the 3rd Period. I don't get it.

must have been a game misconduct not a 10 like they said. I was watching ufc 94 most of the time but did see that in between fights and the call was pure bs.

Ads kinda sucked - nothing super outstanding. The cost to air them was too much - sad to say this, but the networks may have to downscale the price of a Superbowl Ad next year. They WON'T, but they should.

I saw a really good interview on 4 with Matt.

I was impressed. I was bitter and bummed about his leaving the Vikes but he had a heart to heart talk, all about his relationship with Brad C. to how great it was to be apart of the Vikes to old memories of his starting out 9 years ago, living in St Paul and how he will sincerely miss MN. It was a great way to go out instead of just leaving and all about the $. sure the $ helps but still nice. wish he were staying. bye 78.

Im still looking for a #5 jersey if anyone comes across one.
